The future of engine audio in FM

I noticed how when the race starts and the player’s revving up the Chinque Roadster’s engine, the sounds are still synthesized, even though the sampling quality is a step up from FM4. On the downshifts, they sound synthesized too.

This makes me a little curious so as to how the devs are planning to wow us with the sound design when FM6 arrives. Are they going to completely sound like actual engines under load?

Just curious. Would love to hear from someone in the dev team.
