Diesel Cars need to make an appearance and more importantly Stationwagons/Estates
I totally expect some estates, Forza has never let down in that regard, even though they sometimes come within DLC packs, you can always just buy the singles for a respective price. IIRC I think they did lose the Volvo wagon last version.
10 formula E cars likely means that there will be a formula E event in career mode. This will result in less duplicate cars in the field. While people can put custom paints on cars, it’s unlikely that at launch there will be much quality paint jobs shared. Seems to me like a logical solution to creating a fairly realistic looking racing field.
Not sure how everybody is overlooking that and are focused on the “me me me” perspective. Use logic people.
Come down on T10 once the game is out and it is glaringly obvious that 10 cars are pointless.
If everyone has that viewpoint then it clearly isn’t just “me me me” now is it?

I am honestly really disappointed that we spend alot of money on the DLC and we expect good cars, not a repeat of what has been in previous forza’s. I respect turn 10 for adding rain and night but it’s simply not enough. I’m just looking forward to seeing what other cars are going to be in… Hopefully new material. I’m a brake boost/ clutch slipper (1/4 Mile drag racer and id love to see some bigger wider tyres preferably Hoosier tyres with white writing.
It shouldn’t matter what’s in a DLC. If you like the cars you buy it, if you don’t you don’t. In terms of car list we only know around 25% of what will feature on disc (or digital) and there’s an awful lot to come. Iconic cars have to be repeated because they’re iconic and as Forza releases every two years it’s not like the face of the automotive industry changes much. There are a few new cars of course but by and large they have to select a car line up from a very similar pool of cars to the previous release.
In terms of road cars I’m sure we’ll be well catered for but it’ll be good to see a stronger line up of race cars.
On the subject of Formula E I’d assume the licence holder would have wanted the full grid featured. Next season teams are able to design and build their own cars so by having separate cars rather than just liveries I guess the option is there to update this series by way of DLC.
TBH, I’m not very disappointed about the Formula E Duplicates. This first week of Forza Garage was not that bad, and I can assume this week’s FG will be more epic.

I think they have done good with the exotic, and the classics. I tend to be surprised even though I generally do not like the pre 60s cars. On the other hand there have been some cars that I didn’t really know about and have learned to love (especially the Eurpoean classics). I understand that there aren’t going to be 40 new estates coming. People like shiny fast cars in games. There are only a few of us that truly enjoy playing with regular crappy vehicles on a consistent basis. (i predict a ban after that 
…)
Anyway for me it’s couch change to buy 2 or 3 of the ones I like over 2 years, but perhaps, once they realize that some of us tend to buy and drive these cars, do not gift me a racing Honda anymore, ever. I will never use it. Send me a wagon lol. (Didn’t they eventually allow us to relative CR for selling those?) The entire new practice of trying to gift cars that they think I would like has not gone so well ime.
I know it is the first weekly reveal but I actual feel like they are missing a lot of iconic Japanese cars, and also tracks, they are being left out. Where are our iconic S-Chasis and RX-7’s, Especially for a drifter this is very hard for me.
You said it yourself, it was the first reveal.
The future looks bright. Relax and wait and see what is announced.
