Must say the drive line, tells me to not to brake when i need to and also that grass, one wheel on my car touchs the grass and then my car is uncontrolable, can not turn my car on there at all !
Lol. Last time i tried to drive in the grass i couldnt turn either. I think that is how it is supposed to be. The brake line is just a guide line on when to brake it doesnt mean its the perfect place to brake. Some tracks you have to late brake the braking line and other tracks you have to brake early from what the line says.
Back to the grass thing though i think its best to stay off the grass.
Although a helpful aid for those who are unfamiliar with a track, learn to drive/race without the driving line and you’ll realize how much better the experience is when you aren’t trying to constant follow a predetermined path.
By the way … you are on a role with these postings.
The grass does bother me too but I believe it isfor the most part decently accurate. I feel like you should be able to use the edge of the tracks more so for better grip around corners but I feel every time I try it the car gets drug in the only way to get of the grass going fast is to let off until your back on the track. The sticky grass kills me in certain areas as well. I know its done to prevent people from cheating so I can live with that fact. Every driving game has different things that are better or worse in the physics. But all in all a very decent game. There are a lot of good drivers out there as well if you want to be good you need to put the time in probably 400 laps + on a track. I know thats alot but I bought this game to keep me entertained so I believe that will do it.
The way I see it, the driving line is not a permanent thing as you progress through the game. You eventually will eliminate it in favour of using only the markers on the track, but also your own familiarity of each track to determine the best line for you.
Try to turn it off completely and just time attack and I bet that you will see things become easier for you.
I’ve had conversations with ECT Loco UBOG where he has mentioned on more than one occasion that the driving line throws things off for him when he drives so he has shut that off forever.

yeah, the only thing what gets me of the game is the online, there not being any ghost cars or anything thats all lol.
