I don’t know what to do anymore. I was online when it changed to winter, was playing fine for like 20 mins. When I tryed to play again, there was an update, and the game was like this. Already lowered the graphics to the minimum possible, no change.
The game was running perfectly fine before this last update

Same thing happens to me too,after the update I had to reinstall the game because it was crashing after few minutes of gameplay then after reinstall it started doing this

I bought gamepass for this and now I cant play great
Nothing yet, tryed reinstalling (and cleaning the leftover folders) overnight and didnt work.
Could play on high at a fixed 60fps before winter, now I can’t even go a straight line without these problems. Perhaps when the season change again it’ll magically get fixed

I play just on high - since release I’ve been able to hold 60 fps and never had any issue, occasionally the audio would cut out, and maybe a stutter here and there when I first loaded the game - But today I can’t even get 100yards from my home without the game dumping to 1fps. Hell, sometimes in the loading screens the just outright freezes and gives up doing anything. The game is amazing, but theres alot of little things that keep ruining it that are getting very old very quickly.
I’ve been having similar issues the past couple of days as well, the game just completely tanks after a while (the past few times within 30mins-1hr) and never recovers, causing me to have to either restart the game or restart my entire system. The thing is it is never consistent, I played for about an hour and a half straight last night without any issues, then earlier today I play for about 40mins before the performance just suddenly dropped like a tone of bricks. I wasn’t having this problem until after the most recent, aside from maybe one or two small hiccups, but otherwise the game ran pretty dang smooth and the benchmark test doesn’t show any major drops either.

I’ve had worsening frame rates with each update released. During the 4 days before official release it was the best performing game I had. After the first patch performance dropped severely and with the second update it’s gotten a bit worse. A few more updates and it’ll just be a still frame I guess.
Same here, game ran perfectly on ultra settings 1080p until the last update,but now it stutters so much it becomes unplayable, mostly when in Edinbrugh after playing for about half an hour.
I too have FPS drops. Before it ran 60FPS on Ultra. I also have a weird jidder going across my screen when navigating the World Map and in Photo Mode.

Perhaps you could try turning VSync on for that second issue? Fixed my problems with really bad screen tearing
I too have FPS drops. Before it ran smothly at 60FPS on Ultra.
I started to gets this FPS drops after i update nvidia 1060 gtx, before everything was ok even with the FH4 patch instaled

I’ve noted the issue down and we’ll try to look into this further. If anyone has any more video captures of the drops, please let me know.
I runned a few benchmarks while I was trying to fix the problem, I THINK the problem is 8gb ram can’t handle the game anymore after the update that came with the winter week. Which is weird cause I was playing it like mad before that. Also, lowering the settings (disabled everything, even lowered resolution) didn’t change anything on that matter, so I gave up.
Now I can’t benchmark it anymore, my gamepass is no longer active and I have uninstalled the game, at least till I can confirm the issue is fixed. If my friends are still playing, that is.
Same issue after the update, but much terrible. I am running on I5-8300H boosted to 3.89GHz, with an 8G DDR4 memory and GTX1060 MAX-Q
It appears to be that the game cannot load the map fast enough when I am driving fast.
At one incident, the whole game map simply crushed and blue lines appearing everywhere since the texture cannot be loaded.
A possibility is that if the game is still using Encrypting File System for file safety like FH3, it may drain CPU and cause issues on loading texture and map.
The game was running perfectly fine with most settings turn to high, but after the update, every time my car goes faster 170Km/h the game start to lagging and I notice serious CPU stuttering. The CPU usage is wavy between ~10% to 95%. I have tried my best to reduce unnecessary CPU usage but it doesn’t work. I turn all my graphics settings to the lowest but the issue is still there. The game suddenly becomes unplayable.
This is my problem as well. I’ve made 2 threads about this, but haven’t been able to post a video. Mine doesn’t hitch as often as in the video posted, but it does the same thing. This has happened before and after the latest patch (10/23/18). I even got the streaming error message after the patch as well.
