I am at my wits end trying to get online connectivity for Horizon 4 (& 3) from my Windows 10 PC. I’ve read every guide I and:
reset Teredo settings
Deleted the Teredeo and re-created
Changed client types
Enabled static client port and mapped all ports on my pfsense router
Changed to UPNP and made sure it is working
Installed Horizon to another Win 10 PC
Still nothing is working!!!
Here is my Teredo status:
Teredo Parameters
Type : enterpriseclient
Server Name : win1711.ipv6.microsoft.com.
Client Refresh Interval : 30 seconds
Client Port : unspecified
State : qualified
Client Type : teredo client
Network : managed
NAT : symmetric (port)
NAT Special Behaviour : UPNP: Yes, PortPreserving: No
Local Mapping : x.x.x.x:59625
External NAT Mapping : x.x.x.x:8920
Yet I still get the following from the Xbox App:
Internet connection: connected
Xbox Live services: Up and running
Xbox multiplayer:
NAT type: Teredo is unable to qualify
Server connectivity: blocked
Hello, in my case the problem was not on Windows but on my router which had an active Teredo Filter by default. I had to switch it off in order to be able to get connected.
I have a Fritz!Box so these are the steps in my case:
Workaround
If the application can only be used with the Teredo protocol, disable the Teredo filter in the FRITZ!Box:
Click “Internet” in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
Click “Filters” in the “Internet” menu.
Click on the “Lists” tab.
Disable the option “Teredo filter enabled”. If the option is not displayed, enable the Advanced View first.
Click “Apply” to save the settings.
In the windows 10 taskbar search, type “CMD” for the command prompt. Right click and select “run as administrator”.
Type this exactly:
Netsh interface teredo set state disabled
And then type
netsh interface teredo set state enterpriseclient
I have to do this EVERY single time I want to party chat or join in an online game on Xbox from windows 10. I have told Microsoft support about this Teredo problem on windows 10 multiple times. It is nothing to do with T10 or Playground. Its the Microsoft Windows and Xbox departments that need to deal with this teredo problem. Though it would help if T10 and Playground could also pass this information on this problem over to Xbox support.
the commands I have put above should solve your issue. If it doesn’t, you will have to contact Microsoft and Xbox support.
