Team Adventure Anything Goes

Not sure if this is the right place but I wanted to disagree with most of the forum and say I LOVE THE MULTIPLAYER!!! Anything Goes with a mix of races and games is perfect!!! I only wish ranked games would match faster, maybe not enough people playing yet cause it’s so new? I usually just work on skill points while I wait.

Additionally I totally disagree with most folks I LOVE Free Roam Rush!!! It’s not “luck” for someone to pick the right route it’s SKILL of knowing how to control a car at any speed and over any terrain. And also knowing the map!

I think the free roam rushes mixed with games and races is perfect! It takes ACTUAL SKILL to win! You have to be super smart with your car choice so it’s able to handle everything from sand king games, to free roam rush, to street racing. It’s so crazy of a mixed bag of events, noobs usually pick the wrong car and don’t do well in one or the other events.

I just wanted to disagree with everyone I’ve seen and note how awesome the multiplayer is. I usually never play multiplayer racing games, usually only FPS’s. But this is for sure fun and has kept the game going for me after beating it almost 100%.

So Thank You Turn 10 and Microsoft for making an incredible game!!!

Well, frr should be optional for people who dig it - like you.
Others like me prefer RWD cars and precise driving around street courses.
In its current state Team Adventure doesn’t allow this if you want to be competitive.
The lack of D, C and B class also shows how badly the mode needs variety. Not everyone wants to use a no-brainer S2 AWD car for ramming, wallriding and straightlining through the countryside.

I prefer FH3 system, where everything was about XP points and maintaining skill chains in those in between races actually required skill. In FH4 it is just mayhem and nothing to do with skills. RNG with how your car will land, when it is airborne. Picking a right route is not a skill, but comes from your experience. Same with the actual races, where you lose your ranking points even though you finish 1st and 2nd with your teammate while other teammates are in the other end of finishing line. Plus the very bottom of the dirt hole - the ramming culture. There is nothing to restrain those lunatics. In FH3 the XP system at least tried to value people with skill. You could ram, wall ride and be first over the finish line, but in the championship standings you were in bottom. Old system was about being fast, skilled and smart. If a last place drifter was above you in the championship standings, then that meant you just wasn’t good or clean enough, because clean (keeping up your skill chain) and fast driving was enough to deal with those drifters.

I agre the ramming can be annoying. I mean I see Anything Goes as a fun do anything mode. Maybe make the racing mode more for serious gamers? Don’t change every mode?

And isn’t Forza Horizon all about fun anyways not serious racing? If People wanna do that boot up Forza 7!

Yes Forza Horizon is all about having fun, and yet like so many others, the parts of the game I enjoyed most from the previous installments have been removed. Everybody likes to play the game differently so why can’t we? Whats the harm is having choices? To say just go play Forza 7 is a bit insulting.

Don’t mean to insult just noting serious racing is in Forza 7!

What’s wrong with having a choice instead of forcing randomness on everyone?
That way you can choose to drive freeroam rush and everyone else can choose to do proper street racing.

Everyone wins?

YES! There is NOTHING wrong with the free roam rush, I actually prefer that over the checkpoint races. It allows me to get away from the blatant wreckers. Just like I told a few others in a different topic, stick to the road OR get better at dodging trees. Quite simple!

Freeroam rush is garbage. It should be a completely separate mode, that way people that rely on luck that suck at actual racing can go play that instead of doing the normal races

I see your side but usually people suck at both. I can romp on people in free roam rush and then win the normal racing because I actually know how to race as well. It’s a skill to be able to do BOTH. Like I said be able to actually handle any scenario. You have to be able to do a real race and just random tree dodging. It takes both skills to win! That makes it actually harder and more versatile.
