Just wanted to take a minute and give a little shout out to the people at T10 and Playground. Since the demo dropped, I have seen multiple devs and community employees from both companies out in the Forza social community checking in with gamers and getting feedback and input as we’re playing and streaming the demo. I don’t ever remember them doing this before with previous game launches and this is just another example of what is a welcome change I’ve seen over the last year or so with them making an effort to be more interactive with and responsive to the wants of the community.
Really glad to see them making this kind of effort to collect thoughts and opinions from the community.

This should be more upvoted ! This is really important and crucial to keep this communication between the devs and players who gives feedback to make the game even greater, this is even more important when you know they will release update every month to add features, content and changes to the game.

I agree with you Wildcat, As of the last few months all the upgrades with FM7 and the responses in the forums by the Devs are weed one to see. I also looks like Playground Games are also doing this and it is so good to see. I u detests d issues happening with new games but the no respo CS was very annoying and it is do nice to see interaction from the Devs here on the forum. Just that interaction makes me more patient with the issues that pop up as I see and read that they have noticed the posts that point out the issues and are attempting to fix them ( I also understand that the fixes may take a bit and I am ok with this as just nice to see they acknowledge some of the issues.
Thanks Playground Games for this.
IMO Forza is part of an organized effort by Microsoft and the turning point for the Xbox was State of Decay 2.
This game (State of Decay 2) came out at a time when the Xbox was missing big name AAA exclusives and, though the fundamentals seemed good, it launched in an appalling state when it came to bugs and glitches. So Undead Labs took it upon themselves to fix it and less than a month later there was a megapatch that fixed most of the game’s bugs at launch. These days, the game still gets DLC, which is more than can be said for others that launched around the same time of the year.
Somehow I believe all of Microsoft’s franchises ended up benefitting from that, one way or another. In Forza it’s natural that the dedication shown with FM7 would transition over to FH4 and, considering how large FH3’s player base is (it has been quoted at 10 million), this is gonna have a huge impact in the reception of the game and people’s willingness to get an Xbox One for the game (even though trolls consider it “useless” due to Play Anywhere). PG being a first-party studio now will make communication even easier.
