SUPPORT: Multiplayer connectivity issues ["Failed to" messages]

I still cannot connect to multiplayer, and it seems there is not email support. Very disappointed!!!

Having issues with private lobby creation. I get the message “Game server allocation failed”

Everything else appears to be okay for me other than the fact I can’t create a private lobby.

I have just today switched to fibre broadband and I am getting 37 Mbps down and 9 Mbps up, 0% packet loss with 150 ms and although I had been playing fine ealier I am now getting the same message as you, but for everything not just private lobby’s. I have tried the clear alternate mac address thing again but to no avail.

I do not know how it works but is this a Microsoft issue or a turn 10 one? Who’s servers do we play on?

Just got booted midrace; tried to rejoin any lobby and got “Game Server Allocation Failed”. That’s a new one.

Did a power cycle, blah blah blah. Still did it.

Now it’s throwing out all sorts of random things, haha. Failed to find a match, failed to create match request, and something else. Bizarre.

Same issue as well: I was trying to join a Can-Am league session, kept getting “Game server allocation failed”; Now, it’s saying that multiplayer is unavailable and/or is unable to connect, yet I’m still connected to XBL. So I’m guessing just the Forza multiplayer servers are having problems, as everything else works (Designs, tunes, photo gallery, replays).

I am guessing they might be fixing an issue with cheating i know the top guy in my elite level in can am was cheating i was in a game with him and seen it, but anyway i hope it is fixed soon

doubt it’s cheaters, Turn 10 does not care about that

Before everyone blames T10, this is a LIVE server issue. If you guys could, go to Xboxs’ home site and look at the live status. It says multiplayer connection is messed up right now. Use your brains for a moment.

I have the same issue since october “failed to find a game session”

This relates to today’s connection issues which seemed to have affected Xbox broadly.

Multiplayer has always been hit and miss for me but the last 2 days have been inoperable. If I can join a game I get disconnected in the first lap or two or generally either can’t find a game or the game fails to start. Very disappointing.

I am furious that multiplayer and leagues are unavailable much more than not. I want a full refund on my two months of Xbox live (if there was ever a misnomer, this is it).

And I think everyone with an Xbox live subscription should be given the Ferrari 312P as compensation, as a start.

Microsoft and Turn 10 cannot just throw up their hands and say “we know there’s” a problem, without somehow compensating their customers.

Frankly, it is fraud and should be prosecuted, or at least some class action suit be organized.

Where do I complain please?

And funny, if there was ever evidence that something is wrong, we now – thankfully – have a “Cancel” option when TRYING to connect to multiplayer or leagues. Previously you were left to wait out the inevitable “Disconnected” message.

I’ve been trying to get into the league race wince they announce the Ferrari giveaway. Zero luck connecting every day since this was announced. I’m sure the servers were jammed with people coming out of the woodwork trying to get their chance at the car, but this is ridiculous. I’ve tried at all times of the day and have not been able to get connected. Just disappointing.
