I’m getting the “failed to get match server list” message. My detailed network statistics are:

DL 6.66
UL 0.53
Packet loss 0
MTU 1480
Latency 100

I live in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada.

To all at turn 10 thank u and u should also give out some money to all that had problems seems that some people are really angry also im haveing the same problem so please hurry with this update and my wheel is haveing issues sometimes the wheel os to sensitive or its at regular speed please add a sensitivity bar to the advanced options in the wheels settings so i can fix it when its like that or someting like that it will be much appreciated thanks turn 10

Give money to people? That is a joke right? Do you have any idea how long it takes to develop a game like this? How about just play single player for now it still works!! $100 for hours of entertainment is nothing! It costs that much or even more to go to one football game or concert. Give people money back?!?!? What a joke mate. Just get over it and be patient. I’m sure your game won’t explode if it multi player doesn’t work that we’ll for a while

I can get into a lobby but just before a race starts I’m disconnected from it.

My DL: 30 mbps
UL: 32 mbps
Packet loss: 1%
MTU: 1480
Latency: 160

Playing from the Netherlands.

Haven’t been able to play since early access and was really hoping it would be solved with the official European release, but apparently not. Never had this kind of problems with forza 5 or horizon 2, so hopefully this can be solved soon!

Been having this problem since September 10th launch. From Argentina.

Every other games works fine.

None of my Forza games multiplayer works anymore forza 5 and horrizon used to but about 3 months before forza 6 came out they both stopped, bought vip and car pass for forza 6 thinking that they’d have fixed it by now. Shame shame.

I have the highest package time Warner offers, and it still doesn’t work. My latency hovers around 50ms. Do I need a dedicated gigabit line to play this game?

When I can get into fm6 multiplayer it works great. I have frequent trouble getting into a league or multiplayer hopper though. Often, one will work great while the other wont let me in. Only had one opportunity to try a private server but that worked perfectly ( I didn’t initiate it, a friend did ).

I’m in th UK, 5mbit down, 0.5mbit up. Other games on Xbox one and PC multiplayer are working fine, as long as I don’t use the line for anything else at the same time of course, my upstream is terrible.

In New Zealand with 100mbs dl’ unlimited interwebs. Forza 5 working fine and just want to school some mates on the track asap. loving the single player but Multiplayer is where its at.

How is investigation, any update? Really want to play online, thats all I do on Forza :frowning:

My friend (Gamertag : LuckyDiablo74) has the same problem.
Yesterday (about 9 hours ago) he did not manage to play multiplayer (“Failed to get match server list”), while me and other people managed to do it. He was the one who did not managed to partecipate to the multiplayer when we started the session (we were grouped). Fact is that he managed to play other games in multiplayer. It was impossible only with Forza 6.
He tried to do everything, but it was impossible for him to play.

Down : about 25mbps
Up : about 2,5 mbps
NAT : Open

Please solve.

I am having the same problem. I can not connect to the game server. My connection specs are above the minimum requirements. It would be great to know if something is being done about this issue or if we are in the minority and will be ignored. .

I can see that in Italy, who has a “normal” connection (for italy is adsl Download: about 10 Mb - Upload:about 0,8 Mb - Latency 170 - 200 ms) has NOT problems.
The only my friend who has a powerfoul connection (for Italy) (about 25 Mb download - about 2,5 Mb upload - latency “better than our”) can not manage to play multiplayer . He receives the errors “Failed to start multiplayer” - "Multiplayer is currently unavailable. Please try again later " or “Failed to get server list”.

“Failed to start multiplayer - Multiplayer is currently unavailable. Please try again later.” Not 100% sure if it’s run on dedicated servers, but perhaps Western Canada (near Vancouver, BC) is too far? That would be frustrating, as every other multiplayer game I own, including FM4 all work great (Open NAT, great ping).

Bought the Limited Edition console. Console and controller are great, as is the racing, but the multiplayer issues and the lack of free play options (not to mention split-screen options, which is a dying breed which I still enjoy) has made me frustrated with Forza. FM4 had some great options I’d love to see return.

Regardless, thanks for the work you’re putting into investigating these issues Turn 10; it is appreciated.
