It is normal your game update at launch. You are really stiff on your post. If you are not happy just leave and ask for a refund.

You guys are downloading the whole game now… its not stuck at 1% its downloading 45,9 gb (the game)
Just redownload the dlcs and the “preordered” message is gone
redownloading the game takes 18,2 hours for me… … -_-
Same here😔 . The add ons all displayed the forza 5 logo when installed. When I try to select forza 6 it acts like it’s going to load and then it just kicks me back to the Xbox one home screen
I paid to play not be re downloading the game. I also have full image and no game to play.
Yep… My game also showed it was fully installed, system up to date, but kept crashing back to dash :-\ using 1 TB WD Passport USB HDD btw with no other problems on any other of my digital games (several by preference).
MS / T10 :: Get it together guys. That $110-ish I used to pay for the Ultimate bundle was HARD EARNED cash, meaning I busted my butt hard & cheap so I could afford F6 and now I can’t play it even though I already pre-loaded it. Now I have to re-download 45.9 GB on a shared metered connection >:-( Gee, thanks…
edit: nicer than I thought B-) now my download speed is c-r-a-p because tons of players are probably trying to download it like I am so that’s probably slamming the servers

Yep, I fell victim to this too. I could have swore that my Xbox was set to auto-update. I’m installing the update now, and will go back to downloading the game. My plans for today have been completely changed now…
i had the fullgame image. but it kicks me out, what i am worried about is that my game size was 45 Gb. i checked it yesterday. when it unlocked i saw my xbox saying it is ready to play. kicks me out, i check the size end now it suddenly is about 250 MB. where is the rest of the 45 GB gone to?

Ah, this is what happened to me too. I posted a full story above. I am assuming the extra space is not lost and that it was only ever taking up 250MB to being with. For me, I recall the size being just under 200MB.
And the same here, I had full game image, tried to start game, proper loading screen was shown, then quit to dashboard and 45gb had changed to 209mb.
Re-downloading, but been stuck at 4% for ages now.
What a waste of a days holiday 
How could I be redownloading yet when I go to manage it says manage 45gb. If it wasn’t installed it wouldn’t be taking up HD space. And on top of that my internet isnt suffering at all. When Xbox downloads updates and games I get a big slow down on my internet with other devices but I’m not having any issue with speed right now.
So to be clear I have to uninstall all 54 meg of game and reinstall?

Yes you do! I was thinking at least Forza will work, unlike project cars.
If turn 10 and Microsoft can’t get this right what chance does an independent stand?
After trying to delete and reinstall all the DLC, it now displays a message stating ‘I’m too early’ and they have all stopped at 98%. Should I delete everything and start all the way over?
im also having the same problem. it showed the full game image but kept booting to the main screen. so basically those of us eager to give you our money early are the ones who suffer… im not best pleased at the moment. im now having concerns that once i finally get towards the end of the re-download it will cause more problems that other people are having
Need to redownload it again. I definitely had preloaded the 44gb and not the placeholder . . .

I have a 80 Mbps Internet Access, so why is Microsoft Performance like Disk up Modem Speed?
Im sure i have this same problem but im at work and cant start the redownload I called the wife and gave her a mission lol)
I thought it pre-downloaded really fast for 40+ Gb.
Same problem here, i should suspected a few days ago taking the amount of free space and the other games instaled…but i thought that maybe the 46 Gb should were in that 140 Gb that the system takes for OS and many more…for examples preload content or whatever.
Anyway, i s a pain and a shame that this things only are advised the day of launch, when it colud be perfectly realize of it almost a month ago, neither a simple advise or message. Bad, very bad…45 Gb takes 18-20 hours for me, sometimes less sometimes more…and i think that the server will be blow up…I must say that this kind of issues are usual too in PSN, especially at launches. Plans change for today, bad.
