Me too. At least the reward is worth the effort and you seem to get a better quality of cards.
As I said in another post a lot of the high stakes cards are dreadful and seemed to comprise of motorway runs, drag strips or jumps near the main Festival site. Nothing that thought outside of the box and was enjoyable.
Even the rewards are not worth the effort tbh.
I’m just absolutely certain there’s lot more and pretty good cards so I’m not sure how the algorithm works that we’re constantly getting bad and easy ones. Thought that’s what normal Super 7 was for
This is the most ridiculous event ive ever seen, but what can you expect anymore from these devs. I didnt even know you only have two chances of skipping cards.
Its not my fault that some people do impossible stunts and you dont know about it until its too late. So fun, and what a terrible event. Also i though you could burn up to three cards. I was eliminated after the second one. What a waste of time. Also more wheelspins as a reward?? are you devs high? most of us already have hundreds of wheelspins and every single car we can think of. Please can you at least give us something actually USEFUL.
Are S7 and S7 highstakes created in different way, like can creator choose to only do it for one of those? I thought they are all from same pool.
As for rewards: S7 gives a car (which I usually have and I’m not playing for to long) while S7HS gives backstage pass (which is usually car that I don’t have). I won’t talk about events as at this point of game’s life I didn’t expect that they will create it by adding strict filters to S7 challenges. But with HIGH stakes they should have given 3 lives for ALL 7 challenges, not 3 lives PER challenge. And unlimited rewind, that killed it. No stake at all with that. All these can be fixed with filtering regular S7 challenges, but I would prefer they spent time on FH5 now then on doing this. Nice to give it, helps new players and it can be very much improved.
Honestly, it’s what always happens with such features that are let loose on the community without moderation. 90% of the created stuff is either “not good”, cheesy or straight-up exploitative.
Binding the S7 HS selection on the likes/played ratio doesn’t increase the quality and probably only slightly increases the overall difficulty.
So, of course we are facing countless “take the X-class 599XX Evo down the motorway/for this jump” events because those are the majority.
GTA Online’s creator is much more potent but it suffers from the exact same problems. I did race a lot in GTA Online back in the days and, again, 90% of the user created race tracks were awful. Rockstar also used the likes/played ratio to identify the popular ones but actually reviewed the events before they were featured (I created a track on Xbox 360 that got featured by Rockstar and I had to adjust checkpoints & so on).
Horizon 5’s creator looks more powerful with adjustable rule sets, higher prop count and what not. BUT without moderation it’ll be the same outside of closed communities (like our racing crew in GTA Online which created tracks for itself that were good) - 90% will be unfun to play.
Absolute trash, ruined by user generated content and a lack of moderation and made worse by “high stakes” with frankly terrible rewards. People are literally setting other people up to fail and this garbage still stays in the rotation.
If the people making these were any good at making fun games they’d be getting paid for it, not wasting everyone’s time with this.
The prizes aren’t worth it and a lot of challenges aren’t good or use traffic cars you’d get banned for having in your garage. Why are they featuring hackers?
