Sunset Peninsula - Additional Curbstones

Sunset Peninsula is a welcome addition to the tracklist, the full circuit layouts have a nice flow of them and the colours of the design are amazing!
But there is room for improvement. After doing a race on Sunset Peninsula - Full Circuit Reverse, I noticed that it feels like there are a couple of curbstones missing on corner exits. In two spots (#2 and #4) you drive straight onto the grass when going a bit wide. It would be nice if there was a curb that would catch you before going off track. If there’s a row of

Overview

Sunset Peninsula additional curbs
Points #2 and #4 feel required for a better experience, points #1 and #3 are nice-to-haves.

Point #1

This curb is not used when following the racing line, but would be nice to have when going a bit wide. Turn two is a very tricky corner to get right in both Reverse layouts, having a curb on the exit to catch you when going a bit wide would improve racing.

Point #2

The curb on this point feels like a must-have, with the racing line running right up to the grass. When going a bit wide, or when going through the corner with two cars (multiclass), it’s very easy to get pulled onto the grass. This will lead to a loss of speed and might also cause dangerous situations from cars trying to get back on the road after going off here. Having curbs here to catch you before going off would be a huge improvement. having a short strip of runoff behind the curbs (like seen on other spots on the circuit) would also be nice here.

Point #3

The curb at point #3 is not mandatory, but would be nice. The turn just before this short straight is quite sharp and the wall can come at you fast. Having a narrow curb here to catch you before hitting the wall would make the track a bit more friendly.

Point #4

Point #4 is the same story as #2, the racing line runs up to the grass. This corner exit is really important as it’s the last real turn before going full-throttle onto the main straight. Having curbs with a small runoff strip besides them would improve racing a lot.

What do you think of these improvements?

Besides the addition of these curbstones, the Reverse layouts could do with some brake markers. The normal layouts have them and they’re really helpful, but for the Reverse layout these markers are only present at the end of the back straight. Especially going into turn two (going off the banking) is tricky to find the correct braking point, brake markers would very much be appreciated here!

They did an amazing job at refurbishing this track, I haven’t tried it yet, but those curb suggestions seem really good.
Hopefully in a future Update.:+1:

Good suggestions.

It seems as if the track was visually designed to run in only one direction, with little consideration for the details of running it in reverse.
