New challenge using the same Fox tune from the lazy Fox challenge . Thought i would use the Fox again to make better use of Kool’s cool livery he made for the last challenge . The course this time around is Sunset Full , the time to beat is 2:02:441 .
Kool’s cool livery
50 M for anyone who beats the time
Usual T n C’s apply , clean laps , replay , etc etc
I will run the challenge until this time next month ( 16 / 06 / 16 ) or until all interest dies
The car handles nicely round the course , i didnt leave too much on the track , maybe a tenth or so , hope you enjoy the challenge
Wise men watch replays Best way to become faster, from my point of view
You can even use a higher gear in some turns, Tomcat, maybe 6th in 2nd last corner for example
I recommend shifting below 6000 rpm, at 5700 or 5800 - good luck
With pleasure bud, no need to thank !
Probably you still knew that you can look in the telemetry while watching a replay so you can see where to go flat out, to break or to lift only
Thanks for the shopping tour by the way - AH seems to be dead
Well done EZT , nice time , will check replays myself , try and see where i can pick up some time myself . Keep at it Kool , the time should drop after a few more tries .
Had a quick blast (slowly it felt ) round Sunset tonight, managed a 2.09.xxx clean and a 2.04.xxx dirty and that was a really small off so I reckon I can do better, maybe even catch that time
Im sure you will get there soon enough Jive . Try running the car with traction control off , the car doesnt have excessive torque so it will be good practice for you .
I’ve taken a couple runs at this one now, I started with a 2:02.8xx then down to 2:02.271 on the fifth lap of posted replay. But now that I have Kool’s livery, I’m sure I can get myself into the 2:01s Thank you for sharing Kool, and thank you for posting it Voldemortt!
Still a great tune Voldemortt, I think it might be even better suited here
Cheers URDA and well done on beating the time . As i said to Tomcat , it seems to suit quite a few tracks , a wee bit more grunt would have helped it but it was the short twisty tracks i wanted to run it on initially ( Maple Valley for example ) .
