Summer #Forzathon Shop, Festival Playlist events and Rewards through May 14

I wish…

ok so wow both trail and weekly pgg. network issues. finale am not the only one anymore having the issue.

I’ve shared a tune of the Porsche 550 for the Trial. I doubt it’s the fastest car, but I put it in 16th on the Bamburgh Coast Circuit rivals leaderboard. I did the Trial 4 or 5 times, I think, trying some different builds and tune settings, and won by a mile, even when other humans brought C600 cars. The Mini 65 also looks like a very good option, based on the rivals leaderboard.

The Celica’s exhaust is missing bits

What parts? It looks complete to me, albeit with a VERY shiny back plate on the muffler.

I thought the muffler was missing parts because its back plate inside looked like the autoshow floor.

The outside is all there, so I was definitely wrong on the missing parts. Now that I checked again, it really looks like a texture issue related to shine.

Ou I didn’t see that when I check it out. Yeah, definitely missing some parts lol I still don’t know why that part is so shiny that it directly reflects the surroundings.

The Mercedes W154 is a 10 million CR autoshow car that I happen to know I don’t already have. Even though I could just go and buy it anytime I want, I now have the incentive to 80% the playlist. So it’s going to be a busy month, I think.

Same for me as well.

I bet the main reason why this week’s Trial was such a breeze is that the cars aren’t fast enough for randoms to crash and ram each other off.

I think they mistakenly sell the 1973 A110.
Perhaps they intended to sell the 2017 A110, but accidentally sold the 1973 A110.
This car is a Dirt Racing reward and is probably not the car they had planned to make available from the Forzathon Shop.

I was hoping that was the case because I’ve been trying to get the 2017 Alpine, but it’s not worth 5 million+ to me. Seeing as it hasn’t been changed, I’m guessing it was intentional for the 1973 A110 to be there (it shouldn’t though).

On a side note, I got a wheelspin for 50% completion and a super wheelspin for 80% on the season. Is this something new? I don’t remember ever getting either of those season completion percentage.

Edit: I see in the first post now that wheelspins are a new extra reward.

My first race in The Trial was with a stock 1948 Ferrari 166MM Barchetta. It was the only eligible car presented to me from my garage. So I went to the races and saw a few other eligible cars. Even one fellow with 1962 Peel P50(??).

The stock Barchetta performed very well and my team won all three events; thanks to three 1965 MINI Cooper that stormed through the crowd to the front.

So I manually tuned my Barchetta and added a little paint & markings. Back to the race and was well pleased that this car would zoom to front of race too.

Having raced the Trial several times against all type of teammate’s cars, I’d say this can be a winning car for anyone to use.

Hello,

Cars/tunes/suggestions for this weeks seasonal online and PR syunts for those that find such useful. All tunes are my own, shared. ~ tune name / share code. If you use anything offered here, and you like it/it was useful to you, please don’t forget to leave a like.

Online:
**Trial: “Fun-Sized” | Road Racing | (C600) Micro-Mayhem
**Car used: 1971 Lotus Elan Sprint (Autoshow 57,000 Cr)
**Tune: C600 Street AWD / 180 421 988

Dust off the Elan for another trial (not the same of course!). A.I. behavior this week: Solo, testing/practice, A.I. used variety of cars, vs Elan A.I. was competitive, no strange things beyond in the sprint towards the end they get a noticeable boost, this behavior is somewhat common, I can not say in this case if it is due to the player lead and if they would catch you if you did not have a sufficient lead. In the trial A.I. is performing at a lower level vs solo Unbeatable, only saw the A.I. use the Ferrari.
Tune can/will beat unbeatable A.I. both on and offline, car/tune was able to beat cars I faced by players, including tuned cars - the stock Ferrari is not a match at all (based on those I encountered) , tune is plenty fast for the trial, I did note that the Porsche could be faster depending on driver and tune. Tune is optimized towards grip, high/er speed cornering, AWD, street tires, rear Forza air (tuned down).

**Seasonal Playground Games | Bamburgh Castle | (B700) Hot Hatch
**Car used: 2009 Vauxhall Corsa VXR (HTF)
**Tune: B700 Games Sand / 122 058 572

Great car in the sand, good balance, has grip, quick acceleration. I am aware this is a hard to find car, don’t know when it was last gifted, however I really like this one at this location in this class. Tune, FWD, rally tires, rear Forza air (P.I. cheat).

PR stunts:

  • Croft Speed Zone, 1978 Hoonigan Ford Escort RS1800 - ‘S900 Rally Trial’ (680 307 281) - start on the ‘up-hill’ end, there is a small rise behind the start point in the forest, trees on the run in are not an issue, start at the top of the rise straight into the start, my start was around 200kph, if you can hold the corners, and clear the last jump pointing towards the finish this is a relatively easy zone,
  • Wesloch Speed Trap, 2019 Rimac Concept Two - ‘PR Stunt Rally’ (120 633 544) ~ simple was in the air through the trap,
  • The Great Ridge Danger Sign, 2019 Rimac Concept Two - ‘PR Stunt Rally’ (120 633 544) ~ rewind, repeat, you will be in the air passing the flags, it is only a matter of hitting the right line (moderately difficult, but possible with practice) and not hitting a tree on landing, spinning in the air will still give you the distance as long as it lands okay.

Enjoy.

Hi all,

Cars/tunes/suggestions for this weeks seasonal events for those that find such useful. All tunes are my own, shared. ~ tune name / share code. If you use anything offered here, and you like it/it was useful to you, please don’t forget to leave a like.

Solo Events
Solo championships - Raced against Expert, Steering: Simulation, ABS: on, Traction/Stability; Off, Gearbox: Auto.

**Championship: “What’s the Word on the Street?” | Street Scene | (B700) Country: Japan
**Car used: 1974 Honda Civic RS (Car Pass - Autoshow 25,000 Cr)
**Tune: B700 Road / 810 591 382

Easy enough win, lacks top end speed, so first race is hardest of the three, the other two are easy, get in front, out corner the A.I., win. Car can be twitchy in the rear if you swerve sharply, or turn the car in one direction to another too quickly, otherwise a very stable and easy to drive high speed cornering machine Tune is AWD, race tires, Forza rear air, wide-body.

**Championship: “Out for the Count” | Cross Country | (A800) Heavy Hitters
**Car used: 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor (Autoshow 63,000 Cr)
**Tune: A800 CC Offroad / 138 009 364

Provided the A.I. don’t do there cross country misbehaving thing (one million grip) car/tune will easily match and beat the A.I. Car/tune turns wide, keep this in mind. Tune is engine swapped for 5.8L V8 DSC with twin turbo, offroad tires.

**Championship: “Classic Rally Rumble” | Dirt Racing | (D500) Classic Rally
**Car used: 1973 Ford Escort RS1600 (Autoshow 73,000 Cr)
**Tune: D500 Road Rally / 948 043 878

Not many options to choose from to build a D class in this event, the Mini is too obvious a choice, so something different that I am aware drives very well, the 73 Escort. This is a very near stock build for those liking such, it is not 100% stock however, suspension just anti-roll, upgraded brakes, no engine upgrade beyond lightened flywheel, no aero, vintage tires, build is lighter than Forza stock, handles better, faster in speed, acceleration and launch. Fun drive.

Enjoy.

Excellent experience in the Trial. Found a good team first time out, everyone raced clean, and we won easily. I got bumped around once by a teammate late into the 3rd race. I passed him cleanly, and I guess he decided he wanted the position back, even though we were both ahead of the AI. Knocked me into a wall, and hit my bumper a few times before passing. I reminded him that I was on the blue team, and he fired off an ‘oops’ in quick chat, so maybe it was accidental. But it was the 3rd race, and we were already up 2, and we didn’t loose any points over it. So no big deal.

Just a tip for 20 Ultimate drifts you can go round the Horizon Festival Drift zone… the other cars get ghosted as well.

Just completed the Trial with a Lotus Elan & AudibleJam509 Tune, I won all three races with Barchetta’s all following me, well daylight followed me then the Barchetta’s. A very easy car to drive.

Heh, thanks man! Yeah, that turned out well. I destroyed everyone in the trial with that tune. Only issue was the second race when a drivatar invisible force field sent me flying 500 ft off the track. Lol.
