Has anyone been able to complete it? I’m sitting at the princes street speed trap with about 10 other people and we just cant get it. No matter how far you go back, you just cant reach 370km/h in a super gt car. I tried the astin martin one 77 it’s just too slow. My fastest was 338 in a Mercedes Benz sl65 amg. Upgraded and tuned, it just cant hit 370 before the trap. Too many turns slow yiu down. Anyone that has completed it please let me know how.
Just squeeked by with 232.4 with the 2013 Aston Martin V12 Vantage S. Took a million rewinds to get the corners just right without hitting traffic though. Definitely come at the trap heading eastbound that helps too.
Funnily enough I got my best speed so far on my first attempt with a standard 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series Forza Edition approaching the speed trap from the East and driving West. Since then I’ve upgraded several Astons and Mercedes without any success and your suggestion makes more sense. I’ll give it a try tomorrow with an upgraded F12. Many thanks.
I got it with the berlinetta. Come from the east, not the west. I am going to use your picture as an example in a bit. But you have less straight from west meaning you gotta take a higher exit speed and less accel room.
So first off is tuning. Get the gearing and such set up so you are hitting the bit above the trap speed for your limit. Aero set to min, and you want to really be finicky for steering.

Blue: Accelerate from south side of road around intial corner into opposing traffic far lane
Red: Critical point. Heavy accelerate through the corner cutting the apex and as smooth as possible. This is the critical point to maximize your speed into the straight. I was hitting 260 coming out of it.
Smoothly transition back into your lane of traffic. And speed to the finish.
Commence hours of swearing as you miss it repeatedly by 2km/h

There are at least two other cars with convertible top animation in Forzavista…the Ferrari California T and the BMW Z4 sdrive. I agree that it is a total slap in the face to give us the ability to open the top in Forzavista, but not when we actually drive the cars. The digital model is there, so I see no point in not having it available to drive that way. I submitted a support ticket asking them to let us drive these cars with the top down. Even if they can’t map a button to toggle, they could at least make it an option to switch in the upgrade garage.

I did it at 232.4 in the 2013 Aston Martin V12 Vantage S. Just barely, and I had to keep rewinding to avoid traffic. I think the key for me was lowering the rear downforce completely and putting the front just under half. I tried multiple runs before that and was always a bit under the target.
Play in horizon solo you should get loads of traffic for pass skills ther playing in horizonlife they seem to disappear for some reason

Yep that’s what I told people but since update online is also full of traffic making speed traps and danger signs as hard as they wore in FH3 oh n what were talking about has to be done in race as has been explained numerous times already in this thread
Nah, you don’t have to win. I did it in 2 races and I came 2nd in both races. You just have to get to first, then let them overtake, then take first again. Do that 10 times to complete the challenge.
If you buy an adjustable spoiler, you can control the downforce. He said to lower the downforce, but I think he meant he raised it, as in putting more pressure on the rear wheels.
