I believe Forza Motorsport 8 has the potential to recapture the magic of Forza Motorsport 4 and become something truly legendary.

FM4 wasn’t just a game — it was an experience. The career structure, the integration with Top Gear, and the balance between accessibility and challenge made it unforgettable. I’m hoping FM8 can bring back that same spark, but modernized and expanded.

Here are my top suggestions to make FM8 a fan favorite:

  1. Top Gear Trio Return (Clarkson, Hammond, May)

  • Fully voiced presence in menus, races, and special events.

  • A “Top Gear Legends” mode with iconic challenges from the show.

  • Classic commentary and humor that made FM4 so entertaining.

  1. FM4-Style Progression

  • Smartly designed career mode with natural difficulty progression.

  • No forced grinding — just engaging, rewarding events.

  • Unlock cars, earn credits, and level up in meaningful ways.

  1. Solo-Friendly & Fun-First Design

  • Emphasis on great offline content.

  • Event creation and racing modes that work without needing multiplayer.

  • AI tuning and traffic-free experiences for players who enjoy racing solo.

  1. Legacy Features That Matter

  • Return of the Top Gear Test Track.

  • Authentic damage modeling with optional driving assists.

  • Improved cockpit view and rewind features.

  • Optional streamer mode or licensed soundtrack like past titles.

Whilst the ideas are good, the reality is, even if they wanted to do even half of that, the studio has just suffered 50% job cuts…they might be able to support the current game as is but nothing more substantial than that. And all of the Top Gear things would cost a lot of money which they don’t have (as demonstrated by the job cuts)
