Dear Turn 10 Studios,
As a longtime fan who’s grown up with Forza Motorsport, I’m writing to say: FM8 has so much potential—it just needs more of the magic that made FM4 and FM6 unforgettable.
What I hope to see in FM8 (or its future evolution) is a game that combines the depth and passion of FM4 with the refined gameplay and presentation of FM6. FM4 gave us personality. It gave us soulful menus, smart progression systems, real car culture, and those unforgettable Autovista commentaries. FM6 brought the thunder with smoother racing, dynamic tracks, and a sense of precision. Imagine FM8 as the best of both—built on modern tech, but infused with legacy heart.
Some ideas:
- Bring back Driver Affinity, themed race series, and meaningful single-player progression
- Rebuild classic tracks (like Fujimi Kaido and Camino Viejo) in next-gen fidelity
- Reintroduce Autovista, but make it deeper, smarter, and—if possible—give us the trio back
- Make FM8 feel alive with thoughtful menus, legacy nods, and a return to the joy of driving, not just the simulation of it
FM8 is positioned as a platform—and that’s exciting. I’m willing to wait years, just like I did for Horizon 5, if it means watching FM8 evolve into something legendary. I just hope it doesn’t lose the heart along the way.
Thank you for building the world so many of us grew up in.
Sincerely,
[LEVI SHAFER]
