Subaru Impreza WRX ’05 - Inaccurate Model

Like many WRX STI’s, the 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STI is car model that desperately deserve a complete rescan and remodel. In use since FM2, there are many issues with the particular model year in game.

The car’s proportions and dimensions are extremely inaccurate and almost bloated compared to the IRL car.

Add to this the strange shape of the A-pillars, oversized & taillights, the incorrect shape of the roof and side mirrors, the height & size of the vehicle, and the erroneous wheelbase both in terms of lenght and width - the 2005 WRX STI is a mess that needs to be discarded.

This issue has persisted since Forza Motorsport 2, and the Motorsport 5 model changes, while vast, weren’t enough. The Hawkeye Impreza in Forza still has an inaccurate and low quality car model. While it’s not as terrible as the Blobeye Impreza also featured in Forza Motorsport, this Motorsport 2/5 model should not have been brought back as a “new” car in Update 10.
