I’m safety class S and have been working hard to keep that, but still find myself being rammed off the track consistently. This seems a little ridiculous for people that don’t play FM like it’s NFS. My suggestion is that the penalties are a lot stricter depending on the safety class that you’re placed in, for example:
S - Intended Collision = instant DQ
A - Intended Collision = 5s penalty
B - Intended Collision= 3s penalty
…and so on.
This could also be implemented for corner cutting etc.
Thanks for reading and would like to hear other people’s feedback on this.
Would be hard to say an accident happened on purpose. But I agree the current system needs updating.
14 seconds should be the disqualification time.
(2) cut warnings 3rd is a high penalty.
If no time gained- acceptable cut
Collision warnings
Bumps happen but if players see a warning . They should use caution if they know they can’t keep up without being penalized for it.
Bump draft is okay but, Connect to comment below.
If you collide with a driver and because of this they get wheels off track
If you collide with someone and that sends them into another player. Multiple stacked warnings. Being ghosted because of a crash should penalize the person who caused it. Regardless if you left track.
Activate pit limiter to serve time-ghost player?
Regardless, I’m happy with the current community. Cleaner races have been achieved. And it’s important for everyone to have fun. So these can’t be harsh like ACC.
It’s important to remember the devs need a fine balance of experience for everyone. Not just sim players.
Look at ACC. Damage and time lose because of Aero damage. You avoid crashing to others because of damage. But implementing simulation damage into online Forza? I’m down…
I absolutely agree all contact should be avoided and the current system needs a beef on penalties… how it’s done to not kill the game for many is a delicate balance.
In time the system can be adapted. Most importantly lobby rating bug needs fixed first. S is a weird mix of what is happening on wreak fest forza on T1 lap 1?
Since the update, I seem to be getting penalties for collisions that I didn’t cause, usually someone rear ending me or touching a car that has already spun out… this has now put me down to Class A.
I feel that this was not the case prior the update. Please can this be investigated.
If this would be restricted to only clear cases, like side-by-side and you do sudden move left or right, crashing to side of another and causing it to sip. Or coming way too fast to corner (also, I would not mind that if I’d do it by mistake (and I sometimes do if I’m distracted by whatever is on screen) and got DQ’t, that would surely teach me a lesson )
