Decided to have a quick race online today, and as I was driving I noticed that the positions list on the left hand side was changing randomly. It was saying that I was fighting for the lead with ACR Dunc when in fact there was no one near me. By the end of the race I was passed by someone else so actually finished 2nd, but the game said I had finished 3rd and afterwards I was 3rd on the podium.
Forza 7 Invisible car?.
You can see in the clip I was in 1st, with no one in front of me (not on the track or on the map) so what gives?
Also, the sound was really muffled and sounded poor then went back to normal for a few seconds then back to muffled and distorted. I’m getting really bored of this game now, such a disappointment.

Same thing happens in Forza 6. It’s all because of lag. You can’t even see some cars on the track. A friend of mine once said he was near me and that I rammed him, while on my screen his car wasn’t there, his name wasn’t even on the proximity list.
Sometimes I finish first, then I check the results…no…I’m second place, with the leader very far ahead.
When are they going to fix this?

Yeah it was an issue in 6 too, at launch it was really common IIRC usually you would have numerous cars sat on the grid as solid models but you could actually drive through them. Those people were racing but for some reason the game didn’t acknowledge their existence at all, it did get better with time but never completely stopped.
Such a shame its made it through to this game as well. I guess T10 should add it to their lengthy to do list.
