So basically in my experience of horizon 2 (I didn’t play h1) there were 3 starter cars, the supra (import) the BMW (German/foreign country car) then the camaro (my favourite genre classic American muscle) so I was wondering. The BMW was a foreign country German car which is in Europe which is where horizon 2 was so in place of the BMW we might have an Australian car in that place. Then we’ve got import which I don’t have a theory on. Then we had the Camaro which was muscle. So in the muscle group as a whole well most likely get a classic Ford falcon just based off these categories. So these are my ideas of the starter cars and I was wondering your guyses so feel free to post
P.s… there’s also royalty reward with the HyperCars so I guess if you want that could be your starter car but that’s a little boring if you ask me.
I think that there will be an Australian car instead of the Camaro because you need to keep all three types of cars in there: (Exotic, Tuner, Muscle).
Maybe it will be the 74 Sandman?
Don’t worry, Ford Falcons were made in Australia. I say “were” a little early because they still have a couple of months of production left here in Australia - the factory shuts down in October. Very sad day!
No particular models but probably a Holden, a Ford and a car that’s not australian, a Nissan for instance.
However in Horizon 1 you started of with a Volkswagen Corrado from '95 I believe which you had no other choice to pick.
I think an Aussie Ford and Holden would be nice, just for the sake of history of those 2 in Australia. Then a Japanese, a European and an American car. Yes that’s 5 in total, I believe FM6 had 5 or something as well.
I can relate to this completely. I’m OK with not having paints for the first couple of races, but by Level 3 or so, I like to have spent time in the booth. There are still a number of cars in my garage in FH2 that haven’t been driven yet for this very reason.
Haha just shows how different people can be. I personally don’t like to drive around with a car covered with paintings, give me a real authentic manufacturer colour any day. As far as race cars go, I only want authentic liveries as well, no fantasy or stuff made up.
Not a fan of when they do American, Japanese and European choices, British cars are different from French etc so putting all of Europe under one umbrella doesn’t do it for me.
I’d rather see a choice of lower class cheap cars, A BMW 232ti, Golf mk3, Jag XJS, 80/90s Mustang or Camaro, Integra, Prelude, 90s Civic, that sort of range of relatively cheap mild performance cars that most of us buy in IRL when the insurance man decides to go a little easier on you.
Odds are the first car everyone will drive will be the Centenario because its the cover car and thats usually what has happened in the introductory race since the launch of horizon 1. Horizon 1- viper, Forza 5- Mclaren p1, horizon 2- huracan, forza 6- ford gt. In the e3 demo they did have the 3 car option but i dont think that will be the case in the release copy.
