What’s the designer and tuner’s ticket to the designer and tuner skies? Right - the star rating. Unfortunately, this exactly does not work on my account. I have several designs with nearly 1000 downloads and hundreds of likes, but the design rating always sticks to 1 star.
Please can you help me? Please solve this problem as soon as possible. I love to create designs. And meanwhile, I’m extremely frustrated because I’m not getting the proper success based on a game bug!
Is there a solution to the problem? I am happy to expect solutions …
The design rating and rewards system has changed from previous games. And I have not seen any official explanation on how it is supposed to work in Horizon 4. I am currently in discussions with a couple of Playground people to get a better explanation of how the new system works. Once I have answers to my questions, I will post a full detailed explanation of the new system in the Paint Booth section.
And, yes, there are currently some bugs in the design sharing/rewards system … but until we understand exactly how the new system works, it’s hard to be able to tell them what’s wrong. Stay tuned …
If Forza 7 is anything to go by, when you look at the star rating in ‘my designs’ it never changes no matter how many downloads you have.
If you want to see the true star rating of your design go to buy the car and scroll through the designs until you come to your own, it should have the correct rating based on a combination of downloads favourites and uses
Well, as noted above, the rating and rewards system has changed in Horizon 4 compared to how previous games worked. Still waiting on confirmation of how things work now in H4.
Yes, I can understand that a system can be changed in a sequel to a game. But somehow it should be clear to anyone that a design with 1000 downloads should have earned more than just 1 star - no matter what system or algorithm is behind it.
So I suspect that this is a bug and I hope it will be fixed as soon as possible.
Oh yeah! And it’s extremely frustrating when someone like you or me sits down to create detailed and elaborate designs to make our Forza world more beautiful, and then you do not get the necessary pay in terms of respect, and in this case in the form of stars.
Many days later, thousands more downloads and nothing has happened. No support has reported, no star has been added. Meanwhile, I have designs with 10k downloads, which are still rated with only one star!
Why is nothing happening?
Mine is exactly the same. I can’t seem to get anything above 1 star!
It is really frustrating for me this is a big part of the game, and now because of this is less enjoyable. The enjoyment of creating the paints is still there obviously, but when nothing moves above 1 star I just wonder if it is worth the time. Painting has no real game progression and earns (for me at least) a very small amount of money.
I am just thinking that until this gets fixed I am going to leave that part of the game and concentrate on other aspects of it.
Re: Star ratings.
One of my Twerkstallion designs has been featured since day one. In the creative hub I can only see a 1 star rating but if I look on the featured designs for the Twerkstallion from the Autoshow I can see the 5 star rating.
Obviously this isnt very helpful for designs that are not easily visible in the Autoshow and needs to be fixed.
A design search using your GT should give the same result though.
Yeah this is exactly how it was in Forza 7, if you wanted to see the actual star rating of your design you had to go to buy the car then find your design. If you just went into the livery editor all designs were rated one star. Bloody stupid bug
After all, there are the designers without payment who create an additional incentive for other and new gamers.
Finally, there are, among other things, the beautiful designs created by us, the purchase of horizon titles
It is a shame that we can not get a support.
