Aston Martin track toys has the perk 6x skill multiplier, a little help in any case
Going forward into FH5 perhaps using the ghosted start in the Trial (if it’s staying of course) would be a good idea.
I’d still prefer the qualifying mechanic I mentioned a while back but I don’t think that would go down well with the majority of the player base (the ‘mash RT + crash into everyone’ crowd already mentioned in this thread to be exact).
It doesn’t help that part of increasing the AI difficulty is more aggressive ramming so playing against AI encourages bad team behavior.
I’m lazy/slow and just want to play with cars and do the weekly stuff on Highly Skilled and I’ve noticed the “Unbeatable” AI for trials will ram rather than give way more often than not. Or just ram to pass. I suspect it’s more aggressive line holding causing this behavior and I’ve seen the AI just pile up and fight over an apex occasionally.
I used the McLaren 720 PO in the Trial. I accidentally rammed a player into the wall at full speed. I was aiming for a red car but missed. At least we won. I’ve still only lost 1 trial in all this time.
Definitely not a fan of S2 championships however using the CCGT helped a lot. Not the fastest in a straight line due to the downforce on it for Edinburgh’s twisty streets and you lost a bit in straights against the Lego rock ship Chirons etc but at least I could turn corners at speed.
Don’t forget to put the radio on when you have to get 1M skill points.
Saleen S1 seemed to start at 5.0mm in auction. Up to mid 6’s today. What is that about?
Wow, so this Trial has been challenging.
I have not had the best tunes yet, and the lead AI is ridiculously fast. In my case, it was a McLaren 720S for three races was nearly untouchable. Approx 10 seconds ahead of the next AI. I could beat it in the last race, and get close in the second, but as soon as the road opened up, it was gone.
My “teammates” however, I strongly suspect were on the AI payroll. The beginning of each race was brutal. Just an onslaught jockeying for position without anyone knowing how to take a turn. Once a few turns got sorted out and I could get clear, I could actually race. First run was 2nd-2nd-1st…with only one teammate beating one AI car in one race. Thanks for that. Ran it three times after that before finally having a crew that could compete. Oddly enough that last race was in my worst-tuned entry. But it was strong enough to keep my teammates ahead of me and the AI behind us.
Ran the Senna, the Vulcan (not SE), and a 720S Spyder. Accidentally tuned up a Spyder instead of the coupe. Still ran well but needed a little more. Neither my Senna tune nor the Vulcan had enough top end to get the speed up. They were both quick and agile, both had grip to spare, but not enough in it to get that lead AI.
So now that I have actually completed it, I’ll go back and tune a few to see if I can get that elusive lead spot. Got my eye on a Lotus as others have recommended as well.
First stab at the trial, I had a teammate who was ramming EVERYBODY off the road. We started with 6 players, 2 quit after the first race, second race the bad teammate (named Santibaby24007) slowed down to be next to me then rammed me into a tree. Third race I was all alone. I don’t think I’m going to get the Turbo R.
Persevere with it. That’s what I did even though it was so frustrating.
You’ll get that Turbo.
Thanks, I just refueled with coffee and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, nothing can stop me now ![]()
Usually I have good luck on trials, but this one I wasn’t ready for. I misread the eligible cars the first time and tuned my Apollo for it. Then entered and couldn’t use it so I had to pick a car that looked like it already had a tune, my Ultima. But it was completely undrivable, just like I was on ice with summer tires, literally.
So I went back with my AM Vulcan FE, downloaded a good tune, practiced, and got rammed into a tree by a team mate lol.
Third time hopefully is the charm. And I think I can better than that Vulcan FE, it was hard to get to rotate in the turns.
I used the TVR Speed 12 (tune code 177 287 398) for the Trial and for the season event ´´overnight adventures´´ I won all races with it.
Hw mustang and 12 Porsche gt2 rs have 7x multiplier and good perks. The Porsche is the silver with carbon fiber “hood” default. They have the same perks as the Hoonigan rs200, hoonicorns, Hoonigan F150, M6 FE, Ferrari GTC4L etc. I used the Mustang and then a BMW m4 for the races.
Edit: I did tune a Ferrari Pista down to S1 with dirt tires and ran the championship on highly skilled. The car is still fun to drive and won the races. I will share the tune when I am in the game again.
Edit 2: I shared the S1 900 Ferrari 488 Pista tune “Road” that I ran through the Enzo Luxury Getaway championship with.

*** UPDATE *** Spring
FORZA HORIZON 4: SUPER 7 - Spring
Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Forza Edition 1984 is available for completing the Super7 this week.
If anyone wants a lower PI race for the Northern Tours championship I used a Koenigsegg CCX with my S2 919 “Road” tune, share code 303 116 457. I just ran through the races with it. The Lego cars are fast but fun to pick off in the corners.
I finally got on a good team and won the trial, got my Bentley and 80% in the Series, but I can’t beat that Northern Tours. There’s always one car that’s as far ahead of me as I am in front of the rest of the pack. It’s ridiculous. Not even Lego cars all the time either. Last time it was an Agera and I just shook my head.
Sometimes changing the drivatar difficulty level to another level and then back to the original level you want to race at will change this behavior. Occasionally I have to change it, start the race and then quit it before reentering and changing it back.
Edit: Also I shared the S1 900 Ferrari 488 Pista tune “Road” that I ran through the Enzo Luxury Getaway championship with.
I should be on in an hour or so. Will be on laptop, but hopefully can help with championship, just contact me beforehand.
