This really needs to be investigated. Not only was the Winter Forzathon 7million skill score resetting, but the same issue is happening with the Spring Forzathon “For the Love of the Car” challenge. I banked about 350K score today, but when I logged in and started a new skill chain in a new session (Horizon Solo), the progress reset itself. Two options: either fix this issue (please), or erase this challenge from this week and future Forzathon events. Also, please compensate for the lost Forzathon points that MANY of us didn’t receive upon completing the Winter Forzathon challenge. The skill score challenges are ridiculous.

Yes, this issue is known and discussed alot in other threads.
Workaround is to just do all the points in one session, without starting races, changing cars, switching online/offline mode.
Corrado 2.000.000 took me 20 minutes with one skill song.
Yep the same issue that bugged the winter challenge is also happening to the spring challenge they know about it but have not done anything about it yet, how many seasons have to pass before it will be fixed I wonder.
I agree compensating people with forzathon points until its fixed would be a good.

PG should give 200 FP to all users that tried the challenge in both Winter/Spring but had issues. I for one experienced the bug in both Winter/Spring.

200fp each would be good a total of 400 is a start. I was lucky enough to get them both done in one sitting. But it’s Frustrating to do it

For me the challenges are yet again bugged.The Love of The Car keeps resetting and Horizon Heats doesn’t work at all (I have won several sprint races at the Horizon Festival Sprint). Dak’s Approval stays at zero as well. 1 out of 4 challenges done so far and other 3 are broken. Is this now going to be the trend of every Forzathon?
little edit also: I also managed to complete “The Love of The Car” challenge. I did it during one session and avoided doing any races, fast traveling and visiting my houses, because these kind of things made the points counter to reset.

You have to do them in order, therefore the other 2 challenges are INTENDED not to work until you complete the skill score.
I’m not sure why skill score is an issue. 30 minutes at the airport should do it.
Yes, I didn’t know that and it was pointed out to me in another thread. At this point I have completed all the challenges. The only one with real issues seems to be skill score one, which has to be done in one session and better to avoid any kind of fast traveling, racing and other events to be sure that the skill points counter won’t get altered in a negative way.
The challenges have to be done in order, that has been said many times.
You have to complete the Skills points before any races will count for the Heats thing.

The temporary solution would be to try and complete this challenge in one session.
I havent tried the 2 million skill points yet. I went to do the horizon sprint first. I won it 3 different times and the forzathon challenge never completed.
I’m having the same problem. Last night my skill score for the challenge was over 500k. This morning after earning addition skill points I’m at less than 170k. I agree the skill score challenges should be removed. Even if they weren’t broken, I don’t want to grind that much in a car that isn’t one of my personal favorites.
I put up a tune for the VW that makes it much easier/quicker to do the skills. Do the skills all in one gaming session, do not quit the game untill you complete 2 million skills. Without skill song it takes maybe 20 minutes. If you catch a skill song, maybe 10 minutes.
They MUST be done in order. No if, ands, or buts about it.
Just adding my experience…
I had 640k + when I started driving. I did 5 minutes of driving and pulled off a 200K bank of skills; got the achievement for it… Awesome, except that 200K skills didn’t get added to the 640, but instead replaced it. Now I’m at 202,000/2,000,000 and I’m not gonna bother finishing, because I don’t have anything to spend my 2130 Forza points on anyway.
