sound drop outs since july update, stuttering long beach start/finish straight since last 2 patches

i have sound drop outs every 5-10 minutes during races (career-mode) with my Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer PCI since the july update. sound is set to dts and 5.1 THX-specifications and soundcard is plugged in with an optical cable to a Denon 5.1 HD-sound receiver/amplifier. when the sound drops out i can watch the display of my amplifier switching from “DTS” to “Stereo” and back. this goes for 2 to 4 seconds. in that case the game has sometimes light stuttering.

and since the last 2 updates i have medium to heavy (under 25 fps) stuttering at the start/finish straight @ long beach, also in career mode.

i think my sound-problem has something to do with the ingame streaming because the sound-drops are already starting when the game starts loading @ title screen. when there’s nothing to stream, the game runs smooth @ 60 fps with no sound lags/drop-outs.

but maybe my problems could have something to do with this: https://forums.forza.net/turn10_postst125718_Decrease-Performance-on-AMD-Drivers-18-3-1-or-Higher.aspx ? this could explain why i have massive stuttering only at long beach start/finish straight.

since my 1. rig had an hardware crash (mainboard/SSD), i’m using my second rig:

Phenom II x6 1075T CPU
8 GB DDR 3 RAM
ASUS RX480 Strix OC 8 GB GPU
ASUS M4A87TD Evo MB
Regular SATA 3-HDD’s
soundcard as listed above

thanks in advance.

tried again and followed this steps:

Hitching/Stuttering In Game

If you are experiencing hitches/stuttering while playing Forza Motorsport 7, we suggest disabling Game Mode in Windows and close any overclocking, hardware monitoring, streaming, recording and any nonessential apps while we investigate this.

also my system has the newest drivers installed and nothing is overclocked. but it’s more a sound problem than hitching/stuttering. i only have stuttering at the start/finish line in Long Beach, as posted before.
