Whenever we apply rims, we go for the weight of them, and then by look, so having rims sorted by names instead of weight makes this task take longer than needed.
Please add an option to sort rims by weight so we can find rims faster.
This should definitely be an option. Tip, most of the lightweight rims are sport rims.
Remove the weight for rims.
If all you are doing is picking the lightest rims, not a lot of variation is there?
That would make it a lot easier to find the best times for your car.
Rims are one of the last parts I put on the car and it is done when the performance index is near a hundred. e.g. 799, 801. Then I tweak it down or up depending on the rims, so no, don’t remove weight for rims.
That depends on the quality of the tune they want to do, they can definitely reduce some unnecessary power and choose rims that look better, no need to remove weight altogether
Then it will decrease the off-roading capability.
The rims to sort by weight I find a very good idea… Because you want to be first tuning car, then comes the optics.
Yes !! this is critical for precise tuning, adding a filter like car class also nice.
Not necessarily. For off-road applications, sometimes heavier wheels feel better. A good example is that I prefer to not have the LIGHTEST flywheel because that would make my shifts sloppier.
This so much and very welcome Quality-of-Life improvement . Would make the tuning process a lot less of a pain than it is now.
I would actually want to see rims going into Design & Paint category instead. Having something that affect looks so much shouldn’t be tied into the tunes.
I’ll agree that it’s more of a visual upgrade but you don’t go to a paint shop to buy new rims, do you? The bodykits are also not sorted under paints either. They’re fine where they are now.
Being able to sort by weight would be perfect. They should also get the proper default sorting like in FM7 where all multipiece wheels are sorted together in the 3rd category and all sport wheels in the 1st. Now it’s just randomized. No idea why they did that
