I’m finishing up my Ecoboost Focus RS but I don’t like the back end of the car. I’ve tried a few different logo configurations, along with extending the stripes over the back but I’m still not happy with it.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to complete the car?
I agree it needs something. The biggest thing I notice is the lack of color on the back. The other sides have the dash of blue to balance the colors out, but the back seems overly black with just a bit of white. I wonder if you made some of the text blue if that would help. Maybe the EcoBoost? Or put a white outline around the blue EcoBoost text to make it stand off more? (like you did with the 17 on the roof)
Or what if you extended the side stripe to the back and made the Valvoline/Fastenal logos blue (assuming you only extended the top stripe to the back previously)? These all could be crap ideas, but maybe it will spark something in your mind. It might be worth seeing a shot of the car in the sun too. The shots are a bit dark, so a day shot might give it a different look to review.
The white line is too plain and needs to be broken up
Are those in game logos? If so, they need to be custom, if not the color needs to match the car.
Inspiration maybe? This would likely look pretty good. Would take some time but IMO worth it, plus you would learn along the way. Not telling you to change the whole car but you can merge them. Sometimes finding 5 Ecoboost cars and using bits from all of them looks great.
I am not a painter so pardon my ignorance, but why should they be custom? Are you just saying to re-size or skew them a bit to make them look different?
And I guess I don’t quite get the last bit - the color needs to match the car? For the logos or … ?
