I cant seem to download Forza from the store. It says i own the game but every time I try to download the game it comes up with something went wrong. I have the latest drivers and my pc can run the game. It has downloaded all the way to about 18 gigs before then I got the something went wrong message it also did that after about 3 gigs. I’ve tried to look up what the problem might be but I cant find anything on this. I’ve received 2 codes 0x80073CF0 and 0x80073CF9 but searching online hasn’t helped. I am using windows 10 and direct x12. Any help will be appreciated
Did you check your download location? If you have W10 set up with default options it will download to the C:\ drive and you may be out of space.
Also if you have your app storage set to a drive other than C: It may cause all kinds of problems. I’ve had about every one imaginable. I went back to C: drive for the beta but i won’t be playing Forza on PC in the future. I’ve never had this many problems installing a single game. Ever.
My default location was c: which is a small ssd drive but when I changed it to my normal hard drive e: I still got the same problem. I’ve got the game on the bone so I’ll just play it on there as I’ve never had trouble with 700+ steam games yet I download 1 on the windows store and there’s nothing but problems. Thanks for your ideas though
I know. The MS Store has been nothing but problems for me. I own several games/apps that i can’t install. It’s ridiculous. No other online store behaves this poorly. Then they wonder why they’re not making as much money as projected, well that’ll be because lots of people CAN’T install software from the store. Whose going to buy something they know they can’t use? LOL
