I came across this dude, lower PI rating, slamming my qualify time by over 2 seconds. (KTM GT2 Playlist)

I raced against him twice, the first time was around nurburgring, he just flew away from me on the straights, but I slightly gained on corners (not enough to make a difference). I didn’t think much of it, as my KTM wasn’t fully upgraded at the time.

I end up in a lobby with him again, racing around Hakune circuit, he starts in first place, and drives normally for 7/8 laps, I’ve got him by a 4.5 second lead. Then, I start seeing that number drop rapidly throughout the lap until he’s right behind me on the final straight. I ask him how he caught up so fast (because my tires were still fine) and he made up this blatant lie saying “Hard tires”. This man ONLY started catching up on the last lap. No way he had that much grip all of a sudden on hard tires.

Maybe your own tires were just down so much that you got much slower than before?

Only my rear left tire was below the threshold of losing grip, and only on the last couple of corners.

His car was not maxed out, yet he had more acceleration than me, also claimed that he was using max aero.

If he was running hard tires, why did it take him 8 laps to get a laptime 1 second faster than my best?

Even by the standards of anecdotal evidence this doesn’t sound very compelling. But even if it were true this wouldn’t be the way to go about reporting it. And a PSA that people cheat in online games is like a PSA that weather happens.

Everyone knows aboout the Glitch. These People load a Higher Class Tune before the Race Starts. There are some examples at Youtube - For Example here Drive a R Class in a A Lobby

Seen as well in a A class only lobby the winner raced in a X class Mclaren using pc not very great advert for first week and rampant cheating going on. Blanket ban should happen as they must log results to check persons skill rating these people just total ban as they know they are cheating. Cant understand mentality as its not good driving skills using a X class in A class race just defeats the purpose of competitive racing.

The car was within the class threshold. And that’s not how that glitch is performed.

you cant “better drive” 500 extra horsepower into a car.

Where can the “fact” be found that the car had 500hp more than yours?
Can you give some evidence?
And I mean not just guess-work.

His car was a lower rating, and still accelerating twice as fast… I had the maximum power you could have.

This is guesswork!
Just because the car has more HP, when the driver is not able to bring the power to the ground, every other car can easily be faster.

Folks, part of the reason we don’t allow naming and shaming of others on the forums is that what a player witnesses about another player is not sufficient evidence to prove cheating - what you think you see does not determine what is actually happening.

There are plenty of player accusations that are wrong because their limited experience doesn’t envision other possibilities. And even experienced players can’t determine if something was a cheat versus a display or gameplay bug on Forza’s end through no fault of the other player.

Do not accuse others of cheating here. If you see something suspicious, report it as described in the Conduct and Rules
