Why is it u guys think if the car isn’t understeering or losing traction it’s not real? A real car doesn’t lose traction or stop turning in real life. Most of the turns u take in real life on here would flip the car over before it would lose traction and always starts understeering mid turn rather than continue to turn like it would in real life. Your conception on half of these physics are so untrue it’s unreal.
I’m assuming that manual without clutch represents a paddle shifter in an automatic and manual with clutch represents a true straight drive. But the truth is a paddle shifter will shift on it’s on at a certain amount of rpms which doesn’t do in the game.
What exactly is it you’re supposed to be simulating other than what I’ve seen is nothing but slick tires? Race tire compound which is really Hoosier tire compound which when hot is like chewing gum and sport tire compound is basically pirelli or Goodyear tire compound responds nothing like it does girl.
It’s not a simulator and Forza has never been a true sim. Simcade. Project Cars or Assetto Corsa might be what you are looking for. As a Tier 10 this should not be news to you.
He’ll reply with “Forza on the Xbox advertised itself as the ultimate realistic experience!!!”, without paying attention to the fact Forza’s main competitor has always been Gran Turismo (not anymore but still), Gran Turismo advertises itself as “The Real Driving Simulator”, which it obviously has never been since its original release was in a machine that was barely faster than a 486 PC and there had been tons of simulators by Microprose and Papyrus predating its release, and Gran Turismo itself was a contemporary of games such as Sports Car GT and Grand Prix Legends, which were far more of a “Real Driving Simulator” than Gran Turismo itself.
Wrong answer
Yeah ur right my bad thanks for the input.
Mate this game is full of braking line and many other assist users if your looking for a hardcore game your way off the mark buying forza.
I don’t remember reading or seeing any information saying manual w/o clutch represents paddle shift transmission. I always looked at it like it was semi assisted manual, like a bridge between auto and manual w/clutch
The game controls for gear shifting have nothing to do with the actual transmission the car has, and is purely an assist level for the player. You can manual-shift with clutch a car in-game which actually only has a standard torque-converter automatic transmission in real life, just as how you can also drive with automatic shifting in a car which has a full H-pattern manual transmission (not a sequential or flappy-paddle box), and every option/combination in between.
Thanks, I knew it was about assists but I also assumed which is something only idiots do and I shouldn’t have because I know better, that they were using the two to filter the difference since switching to semi manual in new cars is more readily available now.

A real car doesn’t lose traction or stop turning in real life.
Wrong. Just… just so wrong.
