Shimmering around bodies of water

I have this hideous graphical issue where distant bodies of water appear very jagged, and unstable. I don’t know if there was some optimization attempt made to this game, but from what I see, it only performs worse, AND looks worse (more pop-in, etc)

Still, I can more or less deal with the pop-in, but this distant jaggie issue is too much.

Another person checked the same vista, same issue for him:

We both are on an i5 (2500k and 6600k respectively, both using GTX 1070, and 16 gigs of RAM.

1080p, everything cranked to highest possible setting.

Bump, because I can’t believe nobody is having this issue, or no one is bothered by it.

It’s a glaring graphical issue that needs fixing, we need eyes on this.
