Glitches/Bugs

So aside from the engine sound glitch the only other one that I’ve noticed was that sometimes the water that appears on the windshield sticks around after you get out of the water and stays there until you go back in it. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me…?

The only one I have experienced so far is the the world texture disappearing for a split second when moving the view around (with the Right joystick) in Chase Cam

Near the waterfall in Lakehurst Forest when the water isn’t frozen, is an area where you car can be completely submerged. I don’t know if its a glitch or the game working exactly as it was programmed, but its amusing.

*Twice in free roam I’ve had the game slow down for a second or so only to then have everything run comically fast to “make up” for the slowdown.

*When using Horizon Life, as opposed to Horizon Solo, the the lack of traffic spawns is pathetic. I don’t know if this is considered a bug, but it should be addressed.

*A few times the radio DJ has talked about it raining when if definitely wasn’t raining, nor had it rained recently.

Indeed. They should lower the traffic in Solo to match Horizon Life. Getting dropped from Life into Solo with more traffic AND non-ghosting Drivatars is bloody annoying. Better yet, there should be a user controlled setting for it in Solo.

Hello People of Forza, There is a glitch that I have seen on YouTube that I would like to report. It involves lots of time switching and such, I can post a link to the YouTube video if you need it. He has posted a couple of videos about this glitch and people in the comment section are reporting that the glitch is working.

My friend and I are having troubles joining a ranked online adventure. Only the convoy leader will get the notification to join the ranked lobby. Also I joined a ranked online session and someone immediately left. After that I tried to join again and it said I was banned. My friend has also had this issue.

If you can’t find your issue among these, create a new bug report there.

Engine sound become messed up after few minutes, there’s a nasty whine after about a 2 dozen gear changes.

  • Just encountered: When attempting to spend skill points on a car (happens to be my Agera RS), the selector is “frozen” on one of the perk boxes. I cannot move it to one of the others, even though all are available because all adjacent perks have been unlocked (only top 10-point row not purchased). The one it happened to be frozen on was a limited perk I didn’t really want, but I tried purchasing/unlocking it to see if it would stimulate the cursor. It did not. Tried force quit and restart of game, same behavior. Likewise for hard power cycle of console. SO FAR, this is the only car affected.

Screenshot, while the host lasts (this is now exactly where the selector is frozen; my only option is to exit back out):

Try having a new car delivered to you, earn a skill point, then have the agera delivered back to you

This appears to happen with all cars that have a perk in the upper left corner. As the menu initially selects the first perk that has not yet been purchased, if it’s the upper left one it won’t let you navigate the perk tree.

For me, when this has happened it’s been possible to purchase that perk and then exit and re-enter the Car Mastery menu to once again be able to navigate the perk tree.

I’ve submitted a bug report about it.

I encountered this on launch day and submitted a post about it in the bug forum, I don’t believe anyone followed up. I got around it by using the mouse (on PC).

I got my bug report about it vetted a few days ago with the response that it’s a known issue and being investigated. I hope a fix isn’t that far away. :slightly_smiling_face:

My Caterham FE has massive long alien like arms coming out of the front suspension both sides when I turn the steering, it’s really funny to see. I’ll have to video it

During forzathon live if your in the pause or photo menu when it hits zero it will split you from everyone and you end up doing another task then everyone else.

The grinding gears sound bug when driving manual with clutch,
When playing on interior camera’s is a really annoying bug.
It even makes this sound when standing still, clutch to the floor and going through the gears.

It’s honestly amazing how that one slipped by the developers even though it was also present in the Demoversion.

Love the game though. Its just the gear grinding sound that is driving me absolutely nuts.

The gear grinding even happens in neutral when you are stopped.

Just sit there stationary, gear in neutral, pressing clutch in an out and it grinds everytime on release. Telemetry shows no damage so it is purely an audio bug.

I’ve had to switch to bonnet cam as it was really grating on my nerves.

Also the hole in the steering column of the 2009 Audi RS6 has carried over unfixed from FM7. Try using driver cam in that car and you can see the road through the firewall of the car where the steering column should be.

That graphic issue was reported 12 months ago with FM7 and completely ignored and big surprise it was copy pasted into FH4.

-The clutch grinding noise is unbearable. You have to granny it just to avoid the noise, no matter what clutch you’re running
-Engine/exhaust noise getting stuck
-water/snow stuck on windshields
-no tint on the rear windows of quite a few cars
-C6 Corvette ZR-1’s hood shakes a lot in cockpit cam
-If I rewind more than 5 times (rare, but hey it happens with all these huge jumps) it will often crash the game
-Car won’t always reset if stuck on rocks, but will reset me 1/4 mile back because I didn’t roll back over quickly enough on a flat surface? What was wrong with Forza Motorsport’s rollover system?
