Thanks for the compliments guys! Its hard to showcase the metallic in pictures, a lot of the darker areas are metallic, here’s a few WIP shots, still a lot to do…
I already cut around the intercooler vents to show through to chrome. just did it after snapping some pics.
Thanks for the comments on the Supras guys! I have taken a break from painting for the moment, picked up FM5 again with a need for some competition. I did however start transferring some paints over from FH1 to FH2 on the 360 version.
This paint is only available on the 360 version currently. I did this on H1. Its a replica mustang. I won a paint comp with it and it’s my highest downloaded paint ever on Forza, with over 2,000 downloads.
That’s saying something considering it was painted almost a whole year after the release of H1. All of the orange on the sides is metallic, even the little bits in the lower stripe where the Mustang font passes through.
Search Mustang CFC or my GT to find on Xbox 360, enjoy:
Dude keep it up.
I too am probably going to go back to F5 for a bit, motivation has been zapped out of me as my designs aren’t doing too much for me here, but please get that Mustang onto Xbox One, as you’ll definitely get a download from me!
Well Storm Island finally brought me back to H2, but only part time, the physics difference between the H2 and FM5 really set me back for a few days when I went back to FM5.
Thanks RR, I think I’m near completion on the Ranger Rally Raid. I’m most proud of the Storm Island plates and the way the Ranger text I replicated came out. On purpose I used as many stock Manufacturer’s logos as I could. I’ll update when it’s shared.
I’m really starting to enjoy the challenge that is painting. I’ve been painting since FM1, been releasing paints since FM2 with and without Tuning Garages. In the past week I’ve quite possibly put together some of my best work. I strive more for quality than anything. Quality in the sense of making logos proportional and such.
WHAT??? Yes on this next paint I actually did some body work!!! Finally! I cant remember how long its been since I’ve used gradients for body work, though this one was simple, but super effective!
I took the liberty of making the Robby Gordon Super Stadium Truck into a Dodge RAM Stadium Truck. RAM symbol= death, but yet even that one I took time with to make it metallic, just as I did with the grill.
Enjoy, it’ll be up for download sometime tomorrow:
It’s good to see you’re back making cars look great! The rally designs are all fantastic, but that Ram specifically… Good lord man, that logo must’ve taken hours! O.O
Alfa- yes it took awhile, so long to get the first half done then I mirrored the other half. Which technically makes it not exact but once its scaled down with the gradients I added you can hardly tell. All in all I am very proud of it.
It’s now shared with the following additions/alterations, namely the tail lights which also utilize the chrome base paint:
^Don’t know if that’s a big deal but since his youtube seems to be quite popular I’ll take all the advertising I can lol. Thanks for the feature DM, and thanks for letting me know Alfa!
