Hi,
can anyone help me on the “Infiniti #77 Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Dallara IPS Indy Lights”'s setup?
I’m trying a lot of configs but the car is always too nervous on the rear… when i cut a turn often the back goes away…
TNX a lot

It is very loose in high speed sweepers because the front end has so much grip. I finally worked mine out on Silverstone and can now go flat out through turn 1 and just breath the throttle on the old turn 1 sweeper. Soften the springs and anti roll-bars first and remove a bit of front aero. I have the camber set the same on front and rear now so depending on the track I would suggest doing the same. Now is the hard part figuring out what the car is doing when it’s breaking loose. Is it on throttle or off throttle? Are you at higher speeds where the aero is affecting the car? Is it loosing the rear on turn in or corner exit and high or low speed?
If u use a controller like me then try…coffeejon79 tune by far the quickest and most stable for me, every corner flatout… managed top200 catalunya ,not sayin other tunes are poor just maybe use wheels…
As for the car its in the wrong class n gets killed by 787b…
It is a great car and I’ve been running it at LB and got it down to 1:15.7xx but still getting completely outrun by F333SP & 787B by a mile.
I love the way the car slides around in trailbraking; the 90 deg corner just before back straight is beautiful and satisfying. Reduced the overall downforce and lowered the tire pressures but have not touched anything else yet. I’m going to start tinkering around first with the springs.
Catalunya National …not tried full yet but average between Top 200-500 on tracks ive run …theres more time in the car …i never run anything above A usually but this car got me interested even if it gets left behind by the 787b…
I have had some fun chasing your ghost. Getting within half a second but still making mistakes on my lap. I am using my Atlanta tune. I have run the tune you suggest and I can see its quick. I just need to drive it better.
Only issue is even if I happened to beat your time it will still be slower than my current 787B time, surprise, surprise lol
First of all, tnx everyone!
Usually I prepare my setup on Barcelona and then use it.
The rear of Infinity goes away expecially in fast corners but at llow speed too… @SatNiteEduardo where have I to whatch for setups?
Tnx again
Sorry… I mean that now car is more drivable! but the rear of the car when I come out from a corner is always to control! But a very good work!
How did you do it?
Here it is. Now I know some will question the rebound and bump but I always test a tune with something only mildly tweaked from stock damping plus another one with the usual 12/2s or a variation.
This tune just happened to be the fastest when I tested at Road Atlanta. It also sits at #33 on the shortest Long Beach track.
Which leaderboard are you talking about? This car puzzles me, you can’t tune it to the optimum PI of any class.
And the rev lights are way out, they start flashing far too early - If you redline it (according to the HUD dial) and change up the light on thee steering wheel just never stop flashing. Has anyone else noticed this?
Other than that minor glitch on the rev counter I think this car is awesome and should have it’s own Rivals class (constant, not monthly) and it’s own online lobbies. That would give the sort of close exciting racing we got with the Chevy Lacetti Touring Cars on GRID!!!
Reply if you agree.
Or tell me if there is already something like this that I’ve missed!!!
