Is there a way to do this in Solo play or do you have to be in a multiplayer session?
Yes, just set up a blueprint and you can set the number of laps from 1 to 50.
create a new blueprint, and choose the type of cars, then on the next screen click on the top left box, at there you can change the laps and weather if you want
You can also do a Rivals session of Goliath if you would like to be the only car in Australia.
It’s a great experience actually.
Do you get the same XP and credits if you do a Rivals event
I’m pretty sure it’s less, as I’ve noticed doing Rivals laps on shorter courses paid out less. Plus you can’t use some of the same bonus perks in Rivals than you can in an Exhibition Race. That makes it worth a lot less.
But if you are trying to set a clean Rivals time for Goliath, it’s really hard to do in an Exhibition Race. In other races, not so much, but in Goliath, I run into a pack of drivatar cars every lap even on Unbeatable. It doesn’t seem like drivatars can lap that course unless they are right with you. And every time I come up on a pack, I assume my lap gets flagged. Drafting?
Yep, your lap will get flagged if you draft an opponent. It’s ironic though, because you get both rewarded (skill score and XP) and punished (flagged lap) at the same time.
