how come there has been no news on the server issue that has been a problem all day??? you cant even set up a private lobby and when you finally can your place does not change while racing due to this i dont think i will be bothering with forza 6 which is a shame because i was a die hard forza fan but i think i will move over to project cars as this game has had issues since its release with the xbone

yeah there was 6 of us trying to do a 2 hour endurance kept saying couldnt connect to servers and when we finally got in and started people were getting dashboarded i really hope they sort it for forza 6 because our gaming clan have really lost patience with it now
I’ve been having the same problem with finishing a race then watching the car drive itself for about half a lap before the credits/affinity reward kicks in. Shows no leaderboard at all either (and I’ve power cycle reset twice today).
Also (most often after a multiplayer session) the audio sometimes starts crackling and popping which I’ve seen other users report months ago. If these issues can’t be fixed for what was a XB1 launch title I’m not feeling too optimistic for Forza 6, and I’ve put so many hours into playing Forza games it saddens me to think that!

For those in the thread with connection issues, are your consoles connected wirelessly or via an Ethernet cable? Whatever information you can provide in addition to this would be helpful (modem and router reset, etc.).
I hosted a two hour endurance race just today with not a single connection issue for myself or the participants. So, there is a decent chance that there is something to troubleshoot on your end.
For maybe the last two weeks I’ve been having intermittent problems. Typical symptoms are inability to load a rival and new leaderboard times not getting posted after winning a rivals race. Sometimes it works flawlessly and other times it’s very problematic. I can believe you no issues in a 2 hr. endurance race if you happened to catch it at the right time. My system is wireless but I don’t think the problem is on my end because the other night I was in Rivals and started having problems connecting to the server so I dropped out of Forza and watched an episode of Archer on Amazon Prime without any problems.
I have connection issues. Multiplayer Hoppers not available. My connection is wired, port is forwarded on the router, Connection is 56.3 Mbps download and 5.06 Mbps Upload. Multiplayer for Sniper Elite 3, GTA 5, Horizon 2, and Madden 15 (all the other games I tested today) work fine. Only issue is FM5. Have done numerous restarts on router, modem, and Xbox. All restarts are full restarts, I unplug from wall and from unit (for 10 minutes on xbox, 1 min for modem and router). I’ve been playing Forza games since the first one, they have never responded to issues. Turn 10’s customer support is non-existent, and that is why I am sick of Turn 10 games. I know I can’t wait for Project Cars. I’m done buying crappy games with no support from Turn 10.
Multiplayer ability comes and goes with no intervention on my part. I will lose it for a month or so, then it will come back, only to be unavailable again. It is currently not working
There are currently massive connection issues. People were complaining last night, and I know people still can’t get on now.
Maybe, once in a while, T10 could use the in-game messaging feature, or their very own dedicated forums to elaborate or at least acknowledge and issue. But, as usual, the silence is deafening.

Ability to save share files, leaderboards in and out, searches for designs, leaderboard times, vinyls, tunes even, intermittent, literally aren’t there and then are.
Booted out of lobby after end of races. This is quite random, different people, different races, usually one racer, sometimes two.
System is hardwired, not wireless.
Turned game on. Bought new car. Tried to load paint. Servers unavailable. Tried to set up private lobby for some testing for TORA. Servers unavailable. Tried to do some wheel practice around Spa in the 787b in Rivals. Servers unavailable.
Make FM6 as good as they like, but when they neither acknowledge or accept there is anything wrong with their servers, it ruins the game.
I’m off to talk to the wife for a bit.

I have agree with Claret. I came back to finish the 1/4 finished game from this franchise that I loved, but unfortunately never got that long into my “give it another try” routine before this crap started up and has crippled my ability to play and my new friend that I brought into it. I am getting bored of T10s total disregard of its fanbase over the last couple years and begin to wonder if the next game is going to be a full game or another shallow on content to be released later as DLC kinda thing.
Clearly, I am not a happy camper ATM.
Crap happens, just don’t ignore it and pretend it don’t stink…
