We’re constantly working to improve the experience in Forza Horizon 4. Below you will find a summary of items fixed or improved upon in this Content Update.

Improved Horizon Life Multiplayer Event Sign-Up - When you create a Multiplayer Event, you can post it to the Activity Panel and return to Freeroam while you wait for players to sign up and join. The previous 40-second limit has been removed, and now you can wait for as long as you like for players to join before you start the session.Improved Photo Mode - We’ve added more freedom to how you can move and pan the camera, along with bokeh effects and the ability to toggle headlights, drivers, wildlife and crowd characters!Emotes can now occasionally be found for purchase in the #Forzathon shop.
Improved visibility of driving line on mini-map in various colorblind modes.
Added messaging to inform players that Cars and Credits must be claimed from the Auction House within 60 days.
Added an LSP error message to make users aware they need an update to the game.
Seasonal Event names are now shown on the map, making them easier to find.
Made a change to allow users who use manual gears to view the map during Route Creation.
Fixed an exploit in Route Creator which allowed players to create routes to easily gain a large number of skill points.
Fixed an exploit in Rivals which allowed players to use cars that did not meet the event restrictions.
Fixed an issue where players who flipped cars, or missed checkpoints were not being reset in Ranked Adventure.
Fixed an issue where players could not remove glasses in the Character Customizer.
Fixed an issue where players could sometimes get stuck in a Car Mastery Tree, and be unable to navigate from their current tile.
Fixed an issue where players were occasionally being teleported to their last created Route Blueprint after a Seasonal Championship.
Fixed an issue where the Distance Driven stat was not updating correctly if the player changed their car via the Pause Menu
Various stability improvements.
Fixed an issue where benchmark mode for Nvidia cards would sometimes show performance degradation when there was none.
Fixed an issue where the latest Windows 10 OS was causing a crash when entering speed zones.
Fixed infrequent frame drops when using AMD Radeon R9 290X
Improved non-standard functions that have been mapped to a controller.
Fixed extreme sudden movements to wheels during initialization.
Fixed the grinding noise in cockpit view when shifting with the Logitech G920.
Fixed the deadzones settings functionality for Throttle, Brake, Clutch and Steering.
Added UI to make it clearer which way to turn the wheel when mapping a Steering Wheel.
No Xbox-specific fixes.

That’s fantastic they removed the timer for joining events! And the improved photo stuff
Appreciate the improvements. We need better grouping for ranked adventure. Why do some of us (me) get stuck with 4 or 5 non-ranked people while the entire other side is ranked? Then when I lose, I lose 50 points

Loving the attention to photo mode! Thank you, this will be an excellent change. As someone who loves doing photography in Forza, being able to remove the driver is HUGE. Also, the fix to being able to turn headlights on or off is great as that was a major annoyance. I’m interested to try the bokeh effect and wildlife/crowd characters. Now you just need to allow us to pose next to our cars or do our emotes and it would be complete

Guess the engine sound will still randomly glitch out and the gear crunch when using manual w/ clutch will persist.
Nice fixes this time, small but significant. View Map in Route Creator and Skill Mastery fix are appreciated.

The view map fix and the updates to photo mode do it for me. Always appreciate the dev team’s hard work!
In regard to having the 53+ pages topic about the multiplayer’s weaknesses, this is again VERY DISAPPOINTING

Rather disappointing that the weekly bonus points for completing the 7 daily and 1 weekly forzathons is still not fixed. This has been broken since release.

Ah, well… if I log out in a DLC car when I come back I’m in the starter car I chose. This has been an issue for several Motorsport/Horizon games.
A minor annoyance, which can take a back burner to more important issues…
I used to receive the weekly bonus FP for completing the 1+7 challenges per week was but when they looked into the problem of not getting double FP even if owning the Lake Lodge then the bonus went away completely. Now I get the double FP for everything but the 1+7 weekly challenges.
No mention of car sounds being improved/fixed. But hey, we can get emotes in the Forzathon Shop now.

And we have to yet another month watch those focus all the time when doing races on solo. Some good fixes there but still look bit dissapointing.
Removing time limit is good but i think it’s still not make horizon life multiplayer any better if it still send that notification on 12 players only.
I’m so glad for the photomode changes. They will make my shots looks so much better (the driver sometimes goes a bit polygonal when I zoom out) I would also like to see the fix of shutter speed glitching out when the camera was at 2 metre height. And also a higher limit for the camera so we can take good looking birds eye shots.

not sure why emotes needed to be added to the forza points shop. they are probably the smallest in number of the cosmetics and really didnt need a boost. Just means im going to have OWNED showing up a whole lot more now when i look in the shop now.
No mention of a fix for the swapping cars removing player ghosting in forza live events issue that i posted about recently?
