Course is pretty clear. Not sure about the class. Edit: are there Heros starting in A class?
I actually like this trackâŚlove sliding around those corners. Think I am going to just tune it up to A class. I think I need to reinstall my photoshop so I can do what you did. I have just been lazy about itâŚthat way I can zoom in on the pictures.
Funny timing, I was just thinking of posting it and saw your post
I get happy when I see cross country events lol. They are so rare in FH5 anymore.
Stuck here on next weekâs, obviously the track is Tropico but I initially thought SU Heroes too, but then I noticed all 3 cars behind the Atom look like Land Rovers to me.
Now they all are in SU Heroes and the other 3 Trials have had lots of eligible cars so A800 SU Heroes would follow that trend, but on the flip side of that it seems unlikely that if it were that it would result in those 3 being in the thumbnail, particularly when theyâre all in a different starting class (Defender C, Velar B and Sport SVR A), for A800 SU Heroes youâd expect 3 out of the SVR, I-Pace, Formentor, Urus, DBX, Bentayga, Cayenne and Jeep Trackhawk to feature in it instead.
A800 Land Rover has been a restriction used in seasonal events in the past as well including SCâs.
Land Rovers could be funâŚthat 110 tune you all gave me for that one CC trial a bit back has been fun. I am still using it practicing on aero and other cc tracks. Could be a good time to pull out one of the classic land rovers to make it interesting instead of the velar or the 110.
WowâŚbeen a while since we had any buggies. Seems kind of like a decent week coming up. Gotta be better than this week. This week just felt lackluster.
I like the DLC restrictions, Hoonigan and hot wheels. we hardly ever have those. too bad theyâll get no action. the mainland ones are repeats for the tenth time, other then barn finds, which I think weâve only had once.
S2998 stunts is just about my least favorite thing in the game at this point, next to B700 modern rally
Their obsession with running buggies in cross country⌠I saw the extreme e coming up so I planned ahead. I will end up with enough points for the series Gallardo when I make the 20 points for the Jag.
TGM, good call on the Land Rover trial. It makes sense. I was wondering about that after posting. I didnât immediately recognize the one on the right.
Land Rover trial is actually decent, I wonder what class
Messing around with the Rovers tonightâŚand really donât think itâs going to be A class. I am going to set mine up for b or c class. However, running a classers at tropico is rather run. Traction offâŚfull on slideâŚreally nice.
Iâm assuming A class because the Sport is in the thumbnail, and since that is the only A class Land Rover it then has the Velar and Defender showing as theyâre the next 2 ones with the highest PI stock.
Were it B class Iâd expect it to be the Velar, Defender '20 and '73 Range Rover, and C class Defender '20, the '73 and the Defender 90.
Edit: B class would actually be the Velar, Defender '20 and Defender 90, didnât realise the 90 started at a higher PI than the '73.
ok thatâs what I wasnât sure of, havenât been in game
I could end up being wrong but it became clear a few series ago thereâs always some logic that can be used to work it out, us all throwing the proverbial and hoping something sticks with guesswork isnât required.
'73 looks like the strongest from having a quick look at Tropicoâs board last night, Jeppeâs up there with a top 100 time in it and thereâs one just outside the top 100 after that, then I think the next LR is yama in a Sport around the mid 100âs.
I only say maybe not because driving some of the more powerful land rovers it could cause chaos for a lot of drivers lol. The Velar (hope I said it right) is so powerful, I couldnât imagine the average forza driver trying that on that first course. Then againâŚitâs forza anything and everything is possible haha. I was looking at the 73 as well using the methods I learned from you by checking the leaderboards. Itâs my first choice as well⌠Handles really niceâŚand itâs different than the 110. I think I used the 110 twice already in b and c. Really think this one can be a lot of funâŚespecially since the forums have some great cc tuners.
Used unworthy plebs tunes to test all the LRâs. HonestlyâŚnothing really surprisingâŚthe 73 and one of my favorites the 97 reigned supreme. With the 73 running tropico a smidge faster. I ran ek and tropico both. Really good tune by unworthy by the way.
Well I hope this is right, I think it is but we wonât know for absolutely certain until Max posts the new seasonâs thread with confirmation.

Managed to get that Velar into the top 100 at #91 + I shared my tune for the Defender 90, and those two + the '15 are the cars Iâd recommend for auto users, started reading Harry Potter from the start again yesterday and just through reading in-between the gear changes on the '73, Series III and Defender '20 I am already up to the Half-Blood Prince.
Velar and the '15 are the best for auto users right out the gate but I made the Defender tune specifically for auto as well, clutch + transmission upgrade cost a lot of PI but it lowers the shift penalty by a huge 0.21 seconds in total, having that + being able to adjust the gears myself for Tropico was a huge help.
MC users will be unaffected though so still the '73 Iâd say is the best option there if you do drive MC.
2 things:
- you are broken
- remember to use up to date tunes e.g. Greeteddust tunes is from 2021 and since than RR received tire profile update
Maybe try unworthypleb.
