Sebring 300 unbeatable is actually impossible?

Throughout most of FM7, without bragging, I’ve been capable of beating majority of the races on unbeatable, sometimes by a bit sometimes by a lot, but with the Sebring 300 endurance showcase event, it’s ridiculous! I’m a whole 5-6 Seconds begins most of the field and the difference in pit stops is staggering! The Ford GT LM you are given has to stop for fuel around lap 19, whereas the lead car, which in my case was the #18 Lambo Super driven by M. Rossi, needed to pit only at lap 24 or 25. I get that it’s supposed to be very hard but I wanted to avoid dimming down the difficulty because the earnings would be great as I’m also using extra race length. I don’t know if anyone else is struggling with this same thing or not, but it’s just weird that every other race I’ve done the competition has been fine😕

I had to turn the difficulty down to Highly Skilled in order to complete this one handily. I believe it may be possible on Expert if you’re consistently really quick, but that doesn’t account for the pit stops.

Both Pro and Unbeatable are nigh impossible here, mainly because the Ford is both slow and inefficient. Rossi is especially quick in the Gallardo, but it sits at a much lower PI than the Ford. After I finished the extra long version of this, Rossi was about 50,000 feet ahead of 3rd. There are also only a couple cars that pit more often than the Ford, but most others will do 21 or 22 laps. Rossi again is extremely efficient at 25-26 laps per stint.

It all comes down to poor performance in part of the Ford, but higher difficulties will give the opponents more straight-line speed than they otherwise would.

Technically if something is unbeatable then it would be impossible to beat them. I have enough trouble with Pro but I usually win 6-7 races out of 10 on a bad day maybe a few more podiums than 1st. Put on unbeatable then unless I am on the oval tracks I will never EVER EVER win or even get a look in. I have a bit of a handicap being I am not that good.

Sebring is impossible on Pro or Unbeatable. Even Expert is nearly impossible, don’t even try. I posted a rant on the drivatar behavior thread as to how impossible it was.
To sum it up : Leaderboard world record for the GT you’re driving is 2:05, drivatars best laps are around 2:04 to 2:06 on Expert  ! So unless you’re top 1% or you’re lucky and they crash, forget it.
That + the fact you have to pit for fuel at lap 19 when that lamborghini goes pitting at 21.

Go Highly skilled, not above.

That’s just not true. I got a 2:03.4 when I did it and the drivatars were on pro difficulty. Rossi got a 2:03.3. Remember that the Ford you drive in the showcase is not homologated and has more power, at least, it was for me. Also if pit stops are such a big issue then just turn off fuel wear.

Unbeatable actually lives up to the name. I tried it for a few laps and Rossi got a 2:01 on the OPENING LAP.

Yeah, I did this Showcase on Saturday, and I play on Highly Skilled. I usually have no difficulty getting up to the front and passing the leader, except here. I think they really amped up the difficulty in each successive difficulty stage for this event. Where I’m usually in the lead by lap 3 at the worst, it took me until lap 18 to finally pass the leader here. That said, once I did, they all really slowed down, and over the rest of the race I lapped all but two of them. Their best lap was a high 2:07, my best was a low 2:07.

Sebring AI is too good to be frank. They never make mistakes, and can out brake you at the hairpin easily. That combined with redonkulous levels of acceleration on the straight means its near impossible to beat them. Only way I have managed it is to either have the mod card for ghosting at the start or just bash my way to the front on the first lap between t2 and t5

I’ve spoke on this several times but won’t pass up the opportunity too do it again I loved the rave i did it on extra long so it took 9 hours the issue though was as everyone has said I had to turn down the skill level too highly skilled and even then m Rossi gave me a good run for the first four hours only due too the insane straight line speed on sebring and the payout was horrendous since I did it several weeks ago and did not get double credits in short the race was a mixed bag for me

Same here, had to lower difficulty, sucks can’t get close to #1 AI on unbeatable. Doesn’t matter how good my lap is, they destroy me.

Well, for me “unbeatable” is really what it’s says in the name… unbeatable!
Not once could I win a race… oohh yeah, maybe I could win if I were to put the number of active drivatars to ONE and block him all the way to the finish on a 1 lap race! lmfao! These guys are rockets, seriously, braking at a kamikaze point before a corner, to then accel away like an engine on steroids. If I try this, like the AI, i’m part of the decor at the end of turn one! muhahaha!

I was running mid 2.03s during this race but then got bored and also had a roast chicken in the oven. Decided to make this easy on myself and opted for an elastic band to do the driving for me.

I got discouraged the first time I attempted it on 100%. I have done every single race on 100% difficulty to this point. After reading about other players experiences in this race I gave it another go at 100%. I was able to win the race with not much of a fight after I finally got to the lead after 33 laps. I had to run lap after lap in the 2:03.xxx-2:04.xx to do it but it van be done. The Ai does slow down after a bit but still takes the ability to run fast consistent laps.

I have never understood why anyone would think that a difficulty setting labeled “unbeatable” would be beatable. To me unbeatable is unbeatable. The hardest difficulty I’ve played on is “highly skilled”. I’m playing with a controller, not a racing wheel. So, anything higher than that would be asking for trouble.

It only depends on your skill. For someone who’s never played a racing game and never used a controller before even the lowest difficulty would be “unbeatable”.

It also depends on which track. On high speed tracks like Sebring, Road America and Le Mans the top speed of the AI makes the race much harder.

Sorry no. I played APEX on unbeatable exclusively and ran top leaderboard times in most events winning the race. I can beat unbeatable AI on any track bar Sebring, its the only one with issues of this nature. Hell on Silverstone or Brands Hatch Im way way faster than the unbeatable AI in this game. I only use a controller.

I don’t think the wheel is inherently faster and in many cases is much more difficult. The controller is way more forgiving.

Firstly - It’s relative. They’re saying compared to previous races at this level…
Lastly… unbeatable is just the descriptor. Just like Pro level actually has no real professional racers inside your xbox. The cost of feeding them alone would be prohibitive.

What! No actual professional drivers in my xbox?!!! That does it! I’m never playing this stupid game again!

Yup the controller is much easier because they layer on additional assists to make it easy, even if you have assists disabled. These are controller specific aids.

All races on Sebring are much harder, not just this showcase event.
