season pass cars aren't free

I just bought the season pass SOLEY because the cars wouldn’t cost in game credits. I had refrained from buying the pass thus far because I never had enough to afford to the cars I really wanted and upgrade them. When I found out the cars would not cost in game credits after spending real money on them I was elated. I dropped the $50 and boom still getting charged for the damn cars!

Is there a fix or work around for this or do I need to start whining and emailing and posting like crazy about my refund because I do not want this season pass if I have to spend in game credits for the cars. Period.

It is possible that for some of the earlier packs that you will need to download the dlc manually. Try looking for the La Ferrari pack on the store and if it says its free then download it.

Then check if those cars are free in game.

it also takes time for the game to update itself with all the dlc stuff. as far as a refund dont ever bother asking for you on the forums they have nothing to do with that, threads would just get locked and you banned.

I tried that and it wants to charge me an extra $10. I don’t want to throw more money at the issue. I even let the Xbox sit for a couple hours while I was at the tattoo shop because it said “this may take a few moments” or whatever. Still no go. Then I powered off and on the console and no go. When I look at the individual cars (not the car packs) in the store they say purchased. In the Buy Cars menu the “dlc” tags are gone from all but the VIP cars but they still cost in game credits.

(Edit) I wouldn’t necessarily complain here. I could just email the crap out of turn 10 and Microsoft.

Question: Assuming this all rights itself and once they do become free will the price in the main buy cars screen just say 0 CR for the #66 Chaparral rather than 1,030,000 CR? Or does it register as 0 CR when you’re actually making the purchase?

When it shows up correctly instead of the price it will say “FREE” in green letters. Upon selecting a car with that tag, a box should appear onscreen informing you that “any DLC car will be free for the first time you buy it in game”, instead of saying “are you sure you want to buy with tokens or credits”

Thanks for the explanation, man. At least now in know what I’m looking for. I’ll just try again tomorrow and hopefully its cleared itself up.

Go to my games and apps. Is there anything in the queue section? If you look at the Forza 5 icon does it say something like instlaling x%?

In order for the dlc cars to be free you must have the latest update.

Are you able to race on Long Beach?

Also try a cold reboot - turn off your console by holding the power button on the console for 5 seconds, wait a few minutes and then restart.

Have you tried again? Is the issue still persisting?
