Different tunes for same car will not load. It acts like the tunes have loaded but if you look at your tune you will see that it hasn’t loaded. I made two separate tunes for the same car for two separate tracks and saved them both. Neither will load. The game saved them but will not apply them to the car. This is yet another issue that needs to be fixed by Turn 10. So please Turn 10 if you read this fix this issue. If anyone else has this issue. please post it as it will help bring attention to the issue and turn 10 will address it quicker.
I also reported it, but did notice if you go to the garage, cars, tuning it WILL load the tune there just not while on the track, testing. Hopefully they fix it soon.
EDIT: Guess I was wrong still didn’t load the tune in garage this afternoon, guess we will have to write our numbers down!
Same issue yesterday (Sunday 10-1-2017) on XBox One S.
Using tire pressure as an indicator, saved tire pressure wasn’t loaded in shared tune.
On PC today:
Saved a simple tire pressure change tune as a test. Reset defaults then loaded tune. Tire pressure change was restored.
Reset default tuning then Quit application.
Started app, Tire pressure was still 30. Loaded tune, Tire pressure changed to 27 as saved.
Reset default tuning then Quit application.
On XBox One S today:
First attempt to load game showed game loaded on another device (PC?).
Waited for 5 minutes before trying again. Game loaded with no issues.
Checked tire pressure, still 30 as reset.
Loaded 27 psi tune, tire pressure changed to 27.
Using tire pressure as an indicator, yesterday’s tunes saved on XBox One S loaded correctly.
Saved tunes from Forza Motorsport 6 loaded correctly.
I suspect the issues may have been server related due to first weekend loads. Using 200Mb/s cable Internet I had some network speed issues on multiplayer yesterday in FM7. Those weren’t on my end.
OK good! I mean. bad. but glad I am not the only one having this issue. It is very deflating to work on a tune for hours and then for it to not be there when you need it.
This needs to be fixed!
On another issue, where is my torque measuerments? That stupid class bs gui and prize crates is all they cared about apparently…
Hey peeps, been experimenting with the menu and got tunes to load properly now each time.
It works like this;
Go to the “my tunes” panel and select a tune (this section should actually be renamed “build” as it seems to only saved parts)
Now enter the tuning menu (ie tyre pressure etc) and once more load the tune from the select menu.
Et voila, tune loaded.
Also Torque values are in the Y button menu when selecting a car. Toggle it twice for car stats.
My experiences with tuning setups has just been plain weird tonight.
So I ran the first race at Catalunya in the Hyper Car series and put up a top 10 time. Checked my laptime and noted the tune that was used. I then ran at Monza alt full without changing anything and when I checked the leaderboard time for that, the game acted as if the tune wasn’t a shared one (it was a tune I downloaded off of the leaderboards).
No big deal - however the tune was topping out at 200mph when I ran it - I then went into Test drive and tried a more powerful tune that got me close to that time but couldn’t beat it, (deapite topping out at 213 mph) so I reverted back to the 1st setup that I used. However now the 1st tune has a lower top speed than before and the gearing.is different.
Can anyone explain what is going on? How are.you supposed to work out what the best setup is.when the game keeps moving the goalposts! Made even more annoying by the fact I can’t view my replay on the leaderboard to see.what sort of power the tune used at Monza had despite a replay clearly saving!
