S800 gtr black edition tune. (My first shared tune!)

Hello everyone. This is my first post and figured the best way to introduce myself would be to share a tune! The tune suits me well as a all around circuit tune with good traction and balanced power. I’m a pretty aggressive driver and it hasn’t failed me yet! I’m looking for some feedback and criticism of course. Please search for my tune by searching user BangDrum. If requested I can post it openly for you to make your own changes. I did most of my testing on Sonoma full with all assists off, simulation steering and manual with clutch Thanks! (Tuned to s800)

I renamed the tune to “short circuit” and made a 2nd tune for a more all around feel. It’s a few hundred pounds lighter and has longer gears.

Welcome to the forums and tuner’s garage.

Your car is 750 PI and the max for S class is 800. Your car has way more potential in it if you add the necessary parts to get it to 800 PI.

I suggest you do that and then you will get peoples feedback. At this point there is no point of trying it out because by default the car will under perform.

Thanks for the reply. I tuned the car for the grand touring volume race which restricts to 750. I will retune it at 800 asap!

Right away, your gears are too short. Move your final drive 10-15 clicks to the left. I topped out on Road Atlanta back straight with a lot more to go before braking.

You car build could be better. Unless you’re going to tune a car for a specific track and touch every gear you don’t need a race transmission.

Since it’s S class, I’d say get race tires on your car.

When putting in engine parts make sure to fit the parts that add power and take off weight first.

That’s pretty much what I can give you.

I made a new one with some different parts including weight reduction and race tires. I did most of the testing on road Atlanta and pulled a 1:29 lap time pretty easily though I’m not used to the sport transmission. For short tracks I’d say use the first tune that I renamed short circuit as it seems it does really well in short tight tracks. Got a few good multiplayer finishes on the tighter tracks. But couldn’t quite keep up on the longer ones. Pulled a 4th at the ring full in the rain. (Damn those puddles! Lol)
