[NEW!]Ruddy88 and PPiDrive Open Source Tune Garage

I’d like to share some of the tunes I’ve produced as I’ve been improving my tuning and racing abilities. As Ruddy and I develop our tunes and set some times, we will be posting them in this thread for all of you to see, experiment with, and tweak to your own needs. The tunes will also all be shared within the game if you’d prefer to simply download them and drive on. We would request that you download them, even if you’re creating them from our thread so we can get some statistics for the in-game tuning accomplishments.
Information is located with each tune. I’d appreciate any feedback and constructive criticism if you’ve driven the cars. Thank you.

As stated by PPiDrive in the original post, here is where we will be posting our tunes as open source so that you can modify them to suit your own style and maybe learn a few things a long the way.
These tunes will get better as we go although as it stands we are already setting times in the #1000 area in rivals (thats with me driving automatic too).
We decided to share our work with everyone as a way of saying thanks to the community for helping us out with our constant questioning and badgering. So thanks to all who have helped us along the way, I hope some of you can benefit from this and feel free to question us or criticise (nicely).

If you use any of these open source tunes it’d be nice if you could first download our tune from the storefront and like it (if you do in fact like it), this way we get our tunes used and you will still be free to modify them however you see fit to suit your own driving styles, and any paints that go with it will also be listed.

Ruddy88 Tunes:
I will list all my tunes here in order of class. At the top here you will see a list of all my tunes available as open source, I will continue to add new tunes here and will mark which ones are new.

Included with each tune will be the make and model of the car, the tune name, and the name of any paints for that car as well, any and all likes and uses are appreciated,

A CLASS TUNES
KTM Xbow

B CLASS TUNES
FORD Lotus Cortina

Here are the breakdowns for my tunes, feel free to use and modify these however you see fit, if you post good times with them I’d love to know. The nurburgring GP is the track that I usually begin testing on so most cars will be very well dialled in to this track. All tunes are made with assists off, although I do use automatic transmission, This will not affect the tune too much except in gearing so for that I will usually always only ever install the sport trans and adjust the final drive.

A CLASS TUNES:

Car: KTM Xbow
Tune (on storefront): AWD GRIP BEST
Paint: DJDesign #17

NOTES: This car handles extremely well even without assists, you can virtually floor it our of corners with very minimal risk of losing control, it turns well and maintains it well.
Current time on Nurburgring GP: 2:07:8 AUTOMATIC

B CLASS TUNES:

Car: FORD Lotus Cortina
Tune (on storefront): B GRIP BEST
Paint: DJDesign #17

Notes: This car currently has the fastest time for an Automatic on the Nurburgring GP with a 2:016:4, I also drove a 2:16:00 but Id dirtied the end of the last lap so it counted it as dirty.
I am positive that a good manual driver can take this tune very far up the leaderboards. It handles well although some caution is needed when throttling out of corners, as a RWD it will spin if too much throttle is applied, this will be the same for many cars despite what is done in tuning.

Future tunes will be added to this post accordingly and labelled as NEW

Going to do an A class caterham superlight next, also a ktm xbow for s class.

ARGH! I cannot get the KTM to go for me. I’m trying and trying. I built a RWD tune using the stock motor and it was just oversteer and spin out like crazy. I think if I do RWD I need to also try the 3.6L engine swap. For now, I’m running a very slightly tweaked version of yours trying to chase down your ghost… How do you do it?

I’m trying to brake and I’m easily going half the speed you are and you’re not even braking through the corners and just pulling away.

New S-Class Ferrari F40 build posted near the top of the thread to celebrate Level 25 Ferrari Affinity. Constructive criticism is welcome, and as always, ENJOY!

It seems everyone is throwing around their Ford F100 tunes, so I added mine to the mix. It was posted earlier in a post that no one read and no one cared about, but here it is again. I’d like to Thank General Swift for some pointers and very useful help in bringing this build to life. Thank you GS!

[NEW] Nissan R390 tune posted up near the top of the thread. Take a look and let me know what you think.
