I want to buy a RTX 5090 and can’t find it in any shop, it’s a paper launch.
I already replaced my good old 850 watts PSU with a 1200 watts psu that uses that new PCI-E 5.0 600 watts power cable. Now my rig is ready for the new GPU but I can’t buy it anywhere. I would even pay the 3059€ the shops charge for the one I want that is the ASUS GeForce RTX 5090 TUF GAMING OC.
I mean even if the GPU gets cheaper over time, the 200 or 300€ less, don’t make much of a difference if it already costs 3000€ now. If it costs 2700 or 2800 at some point, that doesn’t change very much IMO.
The good thing is, because I bought the PSU of the same brand “be quiet!”, like I had before. I didn’t have to replace any cables yet, I just had to replace the PSU itself and plug in the old cables. When I have the RTX 5090 all I have to do is replace the old PCI-E cables with the new one.
I just found a 5080 on amazon, but sadly it’s not a 5090.
