It has to do with being logged in to Horizon Life. The game logs you out while you’re creating a route. So when you’re done building (and testing) and it asks you to create custom event, hit “quit”.
Pause >Connect to Horizon Life, then once it’s found a session you can create a blueprint with a class restriction.
Kinda ridiculous.
Is that why? That’s a great tip. I was like HWYRenegade - I couldn’t work out why I could specify the class sometimes and not others. I’m off to try it now.
Race types are always changing back to startpoint type the next day.
I created a cross country route starting from a road racing start point. I made a blueprint cross country event from it. I ran it and got cross country XP.
The next day, its now a road racing event? in my creative hub it says road racing, at the actual start point it says cross country, but its still blue and still gives road racing xp.
The 8 mile limitation for p2p on the contest is way too short for hypercars. Also considering circuit routes, a three lap circuit at 2.66mi a lap is a pretty boring hypercar race. So it isnt okay to go over 8mi in a p2p, but three laps at 4mi is fine.
Of point, my 9 mile hypercar race with a very technical track is still done in under 4 minutes.
Unless is a technical reason for the 8mi restriction, that rule should be removed from the contest and instead just have the time and lap limit. 8mi is Sclass cars on asphalt is different than an A class dirt rally 8mi.

I’ve made 3 routes consisting of doing the highway…I made one of each racing series but when I do the dirt it gives me road racing Xp…why…I set it as a dirt race.
This one is kind of obscure. The first track you make of a route seems to be the one that shows in the hub. Additional tracks on same route will not show. If you make five tracks at a start location, that is the limit. Attempting to make a sixth, it will tell you to save over one. If you save over the one shown in hub, then new track will show in the hub now.
No routes from this location show… even though they are the most recently made. at times I’ve seen routes from new locations show and replace exsisting ones but it’s not clear why. I don’t get why they would think the state of the route creator and blueprint sharing is acceptable.
3 straight times, 3 trys to create a custom race and over an hour wasted total to have the stupid game get caught in a missed checkpoint loop while doing thr test run when there was never a checkpoint missed. Beep this beep its driving me crazy the problems with this game. Car volumes freezing or not present, friends cant play due to screwy wheel dynamicss, online destruction derby and do on. Lets start a pool on what problems the expansion will have and someone can make money besides the undergrad devs. Frustrating game
since the update i ve a really annoying bug with the route creator and the team adventure …
if i make a race in the creator then i try to start a team adventure … everything works fine untill a race (not freeroam rush) start … then i end up either in the adventure race layout with checkpoints from my creator race or im end up in the start of my creator race directly
it happen even if i try to do a pvp race with my creator race before joining team adventure or not
Ok so I have recently created a few routes but I can’t figure out how to find them once finished to race them myself. Where can I find my created routes to play them in solo?
I can’t figure this out, either. I got back to the starting point, go to blueprints, and go to blueprints I’ve created and it’s not there. There’s no option to load routes I’ve created… so I have no idea.
