Are they for real with this car pack? No seriously, are they for real?
Aside from the GRC Beetle which looks actually kinda interesting, for the last car pack to release of the season pack I was expecting the most interesting and bizzare cars yet…but instead we get:
Yet another subby…YAWN
A jaguar estate…boring
2001 Acura…meh, aside from sounding decent, meh
Wow, what a dissappointment. Unless the other 2 cars are something simply mindblowing this will be the most boring pack of them all for me.
I’d rather wait for the expansion F&F cars and use them in freeroam/storm island, which would be silly awesome. Just my two cents for now
Still on that topic about F&F cars not carrying over to the main game…lol, ofc they will. They’d ruin the game if they didn’t because what would be the point in using them for only a tiny part of the map and a few random challenges? Way to break up the game. I’m sure this won’t be the case.
Definitely happy to see a New Beetle in the game, even more so to see it’s similar to the awesome RSi. The WRX and Integra should get a spin as well, and there’s no denying a Jaguar of that size has me very curious!
2 packs in a month ?
I know one is completely free
Also Forza 6 in the wings
I do hope this is not going the same way as the Guitar Hero franchise went.
Over saturation.
I wanted the Subaru, but I also wanted a Hellcat. Its shouting, smoking, and power all in one package (Top Gear/B Wald reference). Sure, you could put a supercharger on the existing Challenger and some upgrades to get it to 707hp, but in no way is it the same. Just like we’ll now have four (five if you count the 22b) very similar performing (at least stock) and very similar stat-wise WRX STIs, but they’re not all the same. As a disclaimer, I love Subarus so I’m fine with that
As far as the pack goes, it looks good for my wishlist but somehow I’m not very excited for it. I can cross at least the Integra and WRX off my list (will hold off until other two are revealed) but I can’t see any car so far as being one I’d spend a ton of time in (again, even though two were on my wishlist). The XFR-S and GRC Beetle look excellent for having fun, but I’m still left here wondering what the remaining two cars are, and if they will redeem my meh feelings on the pack. Mercury Marauder Mercury Marauder Mercury Marauder.
I initially thought that as well, Lol. It would be especially odd because Rockstar is a little too busy working on heists (they’re coming out next week) to get involved with a Forza DLC. Ironically enough, one of the cars that’ll come with that DLC is a '15 WRX/Evo 10 parody, and we’ve had the XFR-S in game since launch. Here’s the one I picked up on the weekend:
My $0.02 on the DLC: It’s pretty cool seeing the '15 WRX already in game, I figured we’d have to wait a lot longer for it. I really like the Jaguar V8s because of how amazing they sound, and I actually just grabbed an XFR-S on GTA V this weekend so it’s good timing to see it show up in FH2. I was wondering when we’d get Foust’s GRC Beetle seeing as he’s sponsored by Forza, and rallycars are always fun so it’s another welcome addition. The Integra isn’t particularly interesting to me, but there’s nothing wrong with it either. So far a pretty solid pack for me.
It’s kinda of like the R35 Black Edition vs the R35 Nismo; both are very similar to each other, but they’re also very different. Us muscle car fans want the Hellcat because it’s arguably the ultimate muscle car. It may just be another variant of a car already in game to you, but to me and many others it’s an entirely different beast. Plus the 2012 Challenger is '70 styled and the 2015 Challenger is '71 styled, so there’s another minor to you/major to me difference.
No Lotus Carlton
Two beetles? Is there any pics of that 1970 dingo version yet? Oh, 850csi? Never thought we’d see that again, now make sure the E34 is in Forza 6.
