Wow, this car pack is exactly the reason why I didn’t buy the season pass. Since when are a Subaru BRAT and a Ford Bronco something you desire to drive fast in a game?
3 Offroad Vehicles in a normal car pack can’t be a good idea.
Most of those cars shouldn’t exist in a racing game. Only if the really important ones are already in the game.
If the game already offered you 500+ cars you could think about releasing some funny cars, but even in that case you could easily find better ones. Very, very disappointing.
I’m a calm man but if that car pack is meant to be serious I really want to throw my Xbox One out of the window…
you cant please everyone, someone out there will like this. I think it is the worst car park I have ever seen to be honest, so I just wont buy it. they really need more of a mix cars
I like quirky old cars, and I like to drive slow cars fast. The pack is fine by me. What you should be concerned about is that Shelby Raptor, that’s a little lazy.
If I’m playing a game where I can crash through vineyards and destroy parked mopeds, I’d like to do it in an appropriately silly vehicle.
Plus both the BRAT and Bronco have tuning potential to become insanely fast.
They should offer you more variety. 1 slow offroader is more than enough in a car pack of only 6 cars. If it has to be an Offroader I’d prefer something fast…
Well, this pack has two slow offroaders, a fast offroader, a classic race car, a hot hatch, and a stillborn concept car/FR-S competitor.
A lot of times, the packs have two or three new sedans from Audi, Mercedes, or BMW, or a hot coupe of theirs, but no one complains about that. Start giving people multiple trucks in a pack, and everyone loses their mind…
I’m not a truck guy. I honestly do not like trucks. I find nothing wrong with this pack, excepting that the Shelby is a little lazy.
Sigh…there is nothing lazy about the Shelby Raptor, you are making assumptions and I strongly believe your assumptions are incorrect.
I also do not view a normal Raptor with in game parts as the same as a special edition vehicle.
I see it as the opposite of lazy to get the official vehicle in the game. The lazy option would be to leave it up to us to build out own when we actually can not.
I think it’s lazy to make us pay for it, and count it as a new car, instead of letting us use the tools we have in game to create it.
SatNite, you and I have been at odds on the aspect of creating cars for a while, so I know you believe what I believe is incorrect. I acknowledge your statements, and respectfully remain true to my own opinion.
for the people that like old cars how old are you because that can explain a lot no disrespect but im a 90s guy so these cars dont really interest me im looking for more current cars. yes the mazda is current but its also in the 360 version already and yes the raptor is current but i swear ive driven this in the game already and future nissan datsu wont help either lol
What may be important to you, and what may be important to me, and what may be important (or acquirable) to Turn 10/Playground are different things.
For example, if you were to ask me what important M-B or BMW cars should be added to the game right now, I’d say, the AMG GT and i8.
But if I asked you the same question, you’d probably have a lot more answers. And that’s okay. It’s all a matter of taste and opinion. This car pack may not be for you, because it may not contain the cars you wanted. But that doesn’t mean that it is inherently bad.
Yeah exactly what I was waiting for! The AMG GT. What a great car! I’m pretty sure the majority of players is waiting for it or wouldn’t at least be offended by its existence.
Old mediocre trucks however are uninteresting for the most people.
Oh, certainly. I’m sure a lot of people want the AMG GT.
But every time I go into the wishlist threads, I see plenty of requests for old trucks, like the Bronco, too.
Where I live, I’m almost certain everyone would take the classic Bronco over the AMG GT. I’m not kidding. So to claim that EVERYONE would take the AMG GT over the Bronco is closed-minded, something our world has just too much of.
What I know is that since FM3, people have been wanting a Bronco in the game, and now they’ve finally got one. I’m certain you’ll get your AMG GT eventually, if not in this game then FM6. Turn 10 is aware that it exists and I know they want it in the game, too.
But just because the car pack doesn’t have it, doesn’t mean that it’s a bad pack.
I must admit this pack is looking like a cool pack and different from the rest. I loved the iDX when it was relieved and never thought it would be in Forza unless it was in Motorsport 6. Personally I’m not a fan of the Raptor, and will most likely not use it due to the other trucks/off road vehicles that are in the game.
Looks to me to just be a new paint job and a few upgrades. I will still give it a try though.
Wow. Can I just say, opinions aside, that I think some of you on here are grossly RUDE and ungrateful. Playground Games have had a large opportunity given them to really go outside the box with adding vehicles, especially seeing as this is a mostly offroad focused game. So to include 2 “forza first” trucks the RAT and the Bronco I think is a wonderful, gutsy and well made choice.
They could of gone easy mode, adding more Audi more BMW more e30s or “normal” cars like that but they didn’t, they went outside the box and gave us 5 great choices:
That nismo is excellent and a surprise as I’ve never known about it till now, should be great!
The raptor Shelby is a good a choice as.adding the hennessay version, I think it’ll feel very different and drive different.
The RAT is for me one of those wow whatttt?! choices that really excite me as, never been in a game before, who better than Forza/ Same with the bronco, awesome.
Ferrari for me is a bit “so what” but maybe it’ll surprise me, same with Mazda 3.
Few more hours to go, very excited for at least 4/6 cars, as always most importantly, I hope they all SOUND just as good!
