I won’t be participating sadly I’ve barely squeaked past 40pts in the playlist for the first time in a long time, I’m too busy enjoying living in the early 2000’s again lol.
a) what does that even mean?
b) can you take me with you?
Managed to get into the 36’s with my own tune. Thanks for the suggestions made by you guys. I think I’m running a little higher tire PSI than most. I’m at 20 PSI. It allows me to drive it harder in the sand. I pick up a lot of time jumping onto the beach and the double right hander I can be really aggressive. Only thing holding this tune back is my lack of talent. My suspension I suspect might be a little stiffer as well from most tunes.
I also came up with a nice livery for this electric car….
Sorry I haven’t posted results yet. I’ll probably post on Wednesday now. I’ll also do one more event on Wednesday and then we will have a break as I imagine others, like me, will be playing FM.
Can’t wait to see you all on FM! I soo miss real racing! on FM I’m not sure if my RTX 3070 Ti will be able to run the game at full resolution and extreme settings but it’s the realistic racing and leaderboards unfettered with cheaters!
Oh man that was fun! Finally squeezed by Geistwriter with a drag race to the finish. My best time so far is a dirty 1:36.1. That last jump is always a roll of the dice though…lol. @ziperrPL thats an absolute insane time my guy! Great job!
The DE’s of the GTA trilogy were added as a benefit of GTA+ this week so I am 100%'ing them, already did San Andreas when it was on GP so just 3 + VC for me and I did 3 in just this weekend.
Cost me £4.99 for the month when the price on sale is usually around 5.5 times more than that so it’s a great deal for me as I won’t be going back to them after the completion.
I guess it just shows the games of today just don’t have a certain something, that thing you can never really describe, the DE’s are inferior versions of the games and yet they have still pretty much wiped out all my affinity with FH5, I’ve barely been on here or the game itself.
Great to see an EV getting some love though, makes a nice change from the usual discussions on the forum which always end up being the same bagging, smart aleck comments and going off on tangents once the same group of people get involved.
Geist and anon are both better placed than me to give opinions about any CC in auto related stuff anyways, all I ever do is use head shaking stuff in CC so I think the Rivian might just be too conventional for me lol.
@TonyKartRcr the last jump is RNG from launch to landing, I’ve had a dozen better runs spoiled at the end, I’m moving on from this one - anon and ziperr have proven the concept
@TheGillesMuller i took the Cheetah out for a spin in VC yesterday
Oh I’m certain you have! It was fun chasing your ghost today, I think this is the first EV that I put this much time into. I definitely enjoyed driving it and was surprised by how well it works with settings that I normally wouldn’t use on a CC build. Definitely learned somethings today with this tune.
Thanks for trying. Hope you can improve with V4. I did originally.
Wonder if beermachine will appreciate the below. Beat him by .0001 seconds….
@ziperrPL i’m actually passing you on some parts now but you still launch with noss like acceleration before the final jump. Still landed funny on the final jump for the above.
I’m betting someone in this group can steal the true #1 WR in this thing.
Alright Zip, how do we get the NOS upgrade?
just be smooth I guess
What event are you guys doing?
we were doing a quick run on ribera rocosa A800 with the new rivian R1T
Results from Desert Scramble below. The extra time enabled Aleriooon to sneak back ahead of Anonyyymous for the WR. Unsurprisingly, the 8CTF proved dominant, with the new WR being nearly 4 seconds clear of the old WR before we started our event. GAdam and PABO set the 3rd and 4th fastest times overall on the course.

Car Type: Classic or Modern Muscle
Class: A
Track: Sierra Verde
I’m not going to exclude anything so there should be some fast powerbuild times here.
I’ve barely had time to even log in the last week, but this morning I finalized my tune for the '70 Camaro if anyone wants to give it a try. Full aero, race susp, AWD on rallies, 0-60 in 2.31 seconds, 175.6 mph top speed. SC is 171 300 045. This one is race roll cage, so it took me a bit of time trying to soften up some settings to compensate. I’m pretty happy with it, until it gets wiped out by Dart powerbuilds at least, lol.
Sounds like it should be a good option for the trial as well!
Are you going to run a FM rivals as well?
Not immediately but I’d imagine I will if no one else starts one.
