I have a problem with an accolade, it does not unlock, even if i achieved the goal.
It’s the Beat 5 D Class Rivals Ghosts, it’s stuck on 4/5.
Even if i already did at least 10 of them, in different cars, at different events, and with the same car against other rivals, nothing seems to work, it just won’t unlock.
I still need D, C and B, i don’t know yet if c and b will have the same problem, but S2, S1 and A did unlock properly.
It seems it started yesterday, i saw more complains about this on reddit
Edit: after a few more attempts, it did unlock… Perhaps you need to beat one ghost for each race type? That’s not clear, but i did not do any dirt events yet, so i did, and then it unlocked… So Beat 1 ghost from each discipline would be a better description… This topic can be closed.

The Rivals Accolades seem hit and miss…for me they were registering for the first few days of early access then stopped registering and started again yesterday. I was still stuck on 0/2 for B Class Rivals
I’ve noticed the same issue… I’m beginning to suspect you have to beat a rival that posted a clean lap.
I have beaten mostly drivatars that were flagged, i posted clean laps myself though, i’m in the process of collecting all clean lap accolades. But it didn’t unlock when i did only road races, only after i did a road, dirt, drag, cross country and street scene event in the same class, so one race of each discipline for every class worked for me. Hope it helps someone

It’s circuits only, at least for road races. Sprint races don’t count for whatever reason. Dirty or clean rivals doesn’t seem to matter.

Thank you for posting this. You are correct. I’ve been stuck on 4/5 for S1 Class Veteran rivals accolade. I’ve been running non-circuit after non-circuit rival races and finishing all of them in the top 1%. None of those times register for the accolade. I just ran a circuit rival race and the accolade went to 5/5.

When I had issues with the “Beat 2 B Class Rivals” and it registering none, I had started with the Horizon Festival Circuit…however, it then credited though no clue what races I did as I was just running through them one after another.
yep! circuits only count for this. clean or no, it matters not. the only thing i will add for ease and speed of unlocking these rival accolades is that you can continue looping; as your times improve you can watch your ghost rivals count with each one you’re werking on while it is pinned until you get your blue checkmark pop 
I am experiencing this issue with rivals.
It seems to work on circuits only except for street and drag races which have only one option.
And it does seem to be a bit iffy about whether it triggers after a successful try.
