I’ve done the Sebring 300 this morning but had to leave urgent just after finishing up the race. When i returned to my XBOX, it was shut down (after abt 80minutes). When starting up, the consolo showed some XBOX screen other than normal: the game shut down due to an update on the console. The race is not completed in my evolution championship, does this mean that 2hr43min went down the drain?
How can XBOX do this update when the game was active?
Your game was inactive, not active. Just because you leave it on the screen doesn’t indicate any activity, only that the game is “open”, just as your Dashboard is open. It is just sitting there.
You can control the updates yourself, and not have this happen:
Go into Settings.
Go into System.
Select Updates.
You will find two sections to the right: Console and Games & apps.
Remove the check marks from (1) Keep my console up to date, and (2) Keep my games & apps up to date.
No more interruptions.
